Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Really new hotel, which was nice. Staff throughout were very friendly and accomodating. As a platinum member, they gave me an upgrade to a suite upon request.
I found the room very spacious, quiet, and very functional. The bed was very comfortable so no issues getting a good night’s sleep. All in all, the room was a nice place to spend time in.
There’s breakfast provided as per the service offering of these types of hotels and I found the spread more than enough, and appreciated the effort that they made in changing the hot selection slightly each day.
I found the location good, with many big shops/malls within easy walking distance, even on a very hot Boise day. On that note, there’s a small pool which I used to cool off.
I’d definitely stay here again if I was ever back in Boise.

Stayed at this hotel in October 2023 for business. It is directly next to the Boise Town Square mall and several restaurants. The location was good. The hotel looked to be fairly new and was clean. The staff was pleasant and always greeted people as they walked in or out by the front desk. The two negatives were the bed and the thin walls. For a newer hotel I had hoped the bed would be more firm but I could feel the springs through the mattress. I could also hear conversations of people in neighboring rooms. Luckily they didn’t make noise at night.

Hello, thank you for your review and feedback! We are so thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your experience with our staff and were impressed with the state of the property. We opened last June (2022) and have done our best to keep it looking brand new. As for your negatives, did you share this with staff during your stay? If not, please let us know next time so we can do our best to give you the best stay possible. Our walls have two layers of drywall on each side in hopes to minimize noise from surrounding rooms which is thicker than most hotel walls, but sound does still transfer from time to time. In this instance we would communicate with the room creating the noise and ensure they keep it down. As for the bed we did have someone look into this and had the bed replaced. Being in the hotel industry sometimes we have mattresses that wear faster than others due to a plethora of reasons so thank you for brining that to our attention and I sincerely apologize for the discomfort it caused. The hotel is newer and the grounds, entry area and rooms were clean. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable with a modern touch. Had to leave for meetings before breakfast was available and the staff was accommodating to take some yogurt, fruit and coffee. Would stay here again if back in the area for business.

They will double charge you for your room & BLOCK YOU WHEN YOU TRY TO RESOLVE IT. I’ve emailed the manager there and she said she would try to resolve it and never heard back. And then I sent a follow up email, and then i find out she blocked me from sending emails to her.

Stayed here for a quick 3 day weekend trip. Hotel was very clean and everything was in good shape. Breakfast was good for being free. Best part of the stay was the staff, they were all extremely helpful and friendly. Jenn at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate all my needs even when I went down early in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re in the area. Definitely the best value here.

Stayed at the FISB for one night for business. Its a new property about 10 min from the airport and near a major mall. This was great because I arrived late and the nearby Applebees kitchen was still open. Check in was a breeze and friendly. The hotel is new so everything smells new and is shiny. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom large and spacious. Temperature control was not an issue. The breakfast buffet, especially the oatmeal bar, was excellent. The only negative comment I have, is that despite the hotel being new, the walls seemed a little thin and I could hear late night conversations from outside and from the halls and I'm not a light sleeper. It could have just been the location of my room.

It seems like overall you had a pleasant experience with our staff and offerings, but I am sorry to hear you had noise issues occur during your stay. I always recommend informing our front desk agents of any issues such as these, so we are able to everything to remedy it for you. Our hotel has 2 layers of drywall in between each wall and double paned glass in hopes that it diminishes sound from surrounding rooms and outside, so I sincerely apologize that this was your experience! Noise in the hallway can seep through into guest rooms as doors are not as noise resistant, but we can always send someone to ask individuals to have these conversations in the public areas in the lobby area or their guest rooms. I was traveling on business and my flight was delayed to the point that I missed my meeting. I called the hotel the morning of my hotel stay knowing I was outside the window to cancel the room, but hoping they could grant me an exception. I was pleasantly surprised that they agreed to cancel the room without penalty. I cancelled my other appointments in Boise and rescheduled the entire trip. Days later I realized the unexpected $215 charge on my credit card for the hotel room. When I called to share my situation, I was told multiple lies and when I offered to provide evidence contradicting those statements, I was told these documents were not welcome. I'm a big fan of Marriott and travel to Boise frequently. I will go back to the other Marriott properties for my future stays.

Hi Eric, Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I was the individual who took the second phone call inquiring about your charges and our AGM was who assisted you originally. Upon hearing your side, I immediately conversed with her about it to confirm (as I was not working) and she had informed me she had not approved waiving the cancellation fee and had informed you that there would be an associated charge. This made more sense to me as we were sold out that evening and have a 48-hour cancellation policy so we would charge someone for cancelling morning of and traditionally only waive it if we verify a flight has been cancelled and not just delayed. You offered to send me documents after I had informed you of the decision made, to which I said you could send them, but I couldn't guarantee it would change the decision made by our AGM and then no documents were received. Since this instance, we have asked all agents to inform guests of the 48-hour cancellation when making reservations, offer to change the dates instead of cancelling, and notate waived cancellations in our pass downs to ensure the team and our guests have access to all the information needed when booking and cancelling. Should you wish to speak further I am happy to arrange an additional call with you.

Stopped in for an overnight. In town for state football championship game. This hotel was close to both the game and other things we needed to do. when we walked in to check in Jeremy the clerk was enthusiastic and upbeat. Welcomed us to the hotel, explained everything we needed to know. He noticed my shirt and asked about the game. Very personable. Jeremy was still on duty when we returned from the game and asked whether our team has won or not. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was a good sleep. Hotels was very clean and all of the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was usual fare for Marriott brands with plenty of it. Lots of choices of eating in the area.

Helpful front desk staff & a great room. Within walking distance of an Applebee's.
Beds were a little soft for my husband, but fine for me.
Breakfast was good, but basic. Eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt & waffles.
Coffee was plentiful & hot.
We didn't take advantage of the fitness room or the pool.
