We have stayed at the Flamingo for many trips in the last 12 years. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, but also the motel is close to all the action in Coeur d'Alene. We love being able to back the car up to the front door of our room and unpack easily. The owners are friendly and welcoming and work...

We live in Missoula and whenever we want a weekend away, we go to the Flamingo. It's a great place to stay - clean, friendly owners, walking distance to downtown. We enjoy the different motifs in the rooms. Overall, we love it!

On my journey North for a Montana hunt I decided to stay in Coer d"Alene Idaho and chose the Flamingo Motel for it's good ratings. On check in I was warmly greeted by the owner Art and Shorty. Well maybe shorty is the owner as per Art's suggestion. Anyway this has to be the best kept secret in the Northwest....

Management went out of their way to make us feel welcomed when we arrived unexpectedly at their doorstep. Rooms are upgraded with new carpets. Each room is decorated to a theme. Beds were comfy - best sleep I had in days. And the location is fabulous - downtown Coeur d'Alene and walking distance to the lake. Prices are rock bottom...

We were on our way from Twisp, WA to Spokane, WA and arrived early in Spokane. So we decided to move on to Idaho to Coeur d'Alene - oh what a good decision! We liked this town a lot with the good shopping, the nice main street and the lake. We had of course no reservation, so we asked at...

If you're looking for quaint, classy and location, this is the place. It's a tiny little motel, a retro throwback to earlier days and Art and his wife, who own and operate the property, are the nicest people you'll meet. We stayed in the Flamingo Beach room (#5) and it was decorated perfectly in a tropical theme. We loved the...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Flamingo Motel. I stayed in the Country Cottage room. It's a little dated, but still cute and spotlessly clean. The couple that run the place are friendly and accommodating. I prefer to stay in unique hotels or motels rather than chains and I will definitely return to the Flamingo Motel next time I'm...

Our second visit to this little 1950's style motel and I'm sure there will be more in the future. The owners are really friendly, and helpful with local suggestions for activities and dinner choices. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well appointed and surprisingly quiet. We didn't hear a peep out of our neighbors on a busy night. The DVD and...
