Stayed at Blackwell Hotel for one night in December for a Christmas overnight excursion. Cd'A is a fun place to go during the holiday season to see the light displays, shop and do dinner. (Mid December found the area in early snow and bitter cold temps) Fantastic stay and looking forward to going back. Pros: - Location is ideal for...

It was the perfect getaway for Valentine's Day. We stayed just one night; arriving mid afternoon. It's the perfect location to walk anywhere downtown. We walked to the resort for drinks, then to crafted for dinner. Everything about this hotel is so nice & cute! From the unique rooms, the hot tub, to having a cozy breakfast in the morning....

We were just passing through town and stayed one night in room 9 - in the carriage house. When we arrived the doors were locked but we found a door in the back that was open. The staff member we located was inexperienced but helped us check the in. Our room was almost as advertised: the room did not have...

We recently stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel for six nights - for a mix of business and to 'get away'. We have stayed at the resort nearby in past but needed a place to easily ‘come and go’ during the day with easy access to our vehicle. It was better than we hoped in all aspects. Breakfast is ready...

Love this boutique hotel. It is within walking distance of downtown shopping and restaurants. The staff are lovely and gracious. Love the glass of wine upon check in and the home made breakfast in the morning. Lots of little touches to make you feel warm and welcome! Love to stay here!

My friend and I come to Coeur d'Alene one time a year for an overnight treat. In the past we have stayed at The Coeur D'Alene Resort. We wanted to change it up and try a B and B. We were so pleased that we did. This Boutique Hotel has been refurbished and redecorated and it is sparkling clean! There...

I cannot say enough praise about the Blackwell, and would make a trip to CDA just to stay here! Simply amazing experiences in my three separate visits (rooms 1,2,&7), making it my goal to stay in every unique and perfect room. What truly sets the Blackwell apart is the attention to detail across the board. From the staff interaction, to...

My husband and I stayed at the Blackwell over Halloween weekend. It's location is fantastic. You are within walking distance to the great downtown area and waterfront park. The hotel itself is beautiful. It's restoration and the innkeepers' attention to detail is superb. I was able to sit on the front porch one evening while waiting on my husband for...

We stayed one night here on our way to camping in Idaho and stayed in what used to be the butler's quarters. The whole place was very clean, the service was amazing, and the room was very comfortable. We also liked how close it was to town (just a couple blocks). The basement was also set up for movies and...

We came to Coeur d'Alene to attend a wedding. Most of the guests stayed at a local resort, but a group of us decided to stay at the Blackwell Hotel. This little boutique B&B was just amazing. Each room our group had booked was unique and updated. We loved the coziness of staying in a house and still getting the...
