Nice property within walking distance to the fun downtown area. Beautiful stately building that has been re purposed into what I would call an excellent bed and breakfast. Fireplaces, hardwood floors, creaky old stairs that led up to our bedroom. Antique clawfoot tub in our...More
We had a lovely time visiting Coeur D'Alene and staying at the Blackwell. My wife and I prefer staying places with history and it was nice to see the owner thought it worthwhile to restore the building. Beautiful interior trim and large ceilings on the...More
The rooms are very nice, Restored Victorian with a professional staff. Would be a great place for weddings. Nice grounds and 2 fireplaces in lobby, Breakfast was above typical lodging and well prepared.

Thank you for your great review! Please come back and stay with us again.
Welcoming staff, very charming place with game space in the basement.

We arrived at this hotel aug 9th in 40 degree weather. There is NO air conditioning. We were told to open the window! What good does that do when it is so hot? Not only that, the windows have no screens. No refrigeration for a cold drink either. The proprietor refused any discount or refund due to the heat, as we could not even sit in room. We were stuck paying the outrageous price of this nasty over priced hotel.
