What an unusual place. Originally built in 16th Century and still retains a lot of features. The concierge was extremely helpful and gave lots of good advice. the room was comfortable but don't expect the run of the mill type hotel room. breakfast again was ok with a good choice and buffet style. Did not eat in the evening as...

I stayed here with a tour I booked. I found the service to be rather snotty and not many there to help. The room looked like someone cleaned Norman Bates attic. It says in the doorway that it was built in 1958. I'm sure it was and nothing has changed since. Notice most the pictures are of the outside? The...

We stayed at the Quattro Fontane May 18-21, 2016. This hotel is in the Lido area, which is actually on a different island than St Mark's Square. This worked great for us as we like to be out of the hustle & bustle. Pros: - Super quaint & lovely - Rooms are nice sized European hotel rooms with a queen...

If you travel to Venice, stay on Lido, at this hotel! Beautiful location, in nice quiet neighborhood on Lido. 5 minute walk to bus then quick ride to waterbus for a quick waterbus ride to Venice...or just 5 minute walk to beautiful sandy beach on Lido. Lovely hotel full of antiques, great rooms, great staff and wonderful breakfast. Ask the...

Albergo Quattro Fontaine. Lido. Spent a really special weekend in this delightful hotel. Very quaint old world charm. Staff charming, nothing was too much trouble. Food ideal. We were a mixed party of 11, everyone was catered for. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed here 6-8 May 2016. Albergo Quattro Fontane is a quirky, unusual, beautiful historical hotel with incredible attention to detail in its decor. Rooms have names, there's a huge amount of communal space and lots of quiet corners to read, chat, relax. Just a few minutes from the beach, the hotel is quiet with glorious gardens and pools of...

Defiantly an individual hotel! This is a nice old fashion hotel. The location is quiet and very convenient if you are attending a conference on Lido. This is a hotel with a history so you cant expect a gym or spa but much charming architecture and friendly and proud staff. The breakfast was excellent\, nice seating and much to choose....

The hotel was lovely, if a little noisy (our room was ground floor next to the lift). Breakfasts - good choice of items. Staff - special thanks go to Jean - she really made us welcome, and found out details of where to go etc. All other staff lovely. Very close to attractions - so great unless you have mobility...

Stayed here for 4 nights in oktober to visit the bienalle. Charming hotel "swiss style". A lot of wooden furniture, and the squeaking and creaking that comes with it. Friendly staff. Very simple continental breakfast. Some good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. 15 minutes to walk to the boat. You can take a bus close to the hotel but...
