The actual hotel was quite nice (as I had read in previous reviews) and despite the location on the Lido, it was easy to get to using the water and land buses. I made the booking direct with the Hotel's website, at the time of...More
Arrived at the hotel in the early evening and was greeted with a warm welcome by the member of staff on duty. Although the room was slightly on the small side it was spotlessly clean and tidy through out. The continental breakfast in the morning...More

The Buon Pesce was a lovely Hotel on the Lido, they were pleasant and helpful and it was nice to return back to the Lido after a busy day sightseeing in Venice. Enjoyed our visit to Buon Pesce and would recommend it to anybody.

We travelwd by train from Florence. From the train station in Venice we took a water taxi to Lido. It was not expensive and the boatride was lovely. Once in Lido, we went across the street from the pier and took the local bus to the hotel. There are cabs available once off the water taxi but the best feature of riding the bus was that we were able to see other neighborhoods in Lido on our way to the hotel. I realize that this sounds complicated but it was remarkably easy for even the member of our group with mobility challenges. Good luck.
