This place was superb and an excellent ratio price/quality 3 years ago. It seems it changed hands and not much happened on maintenance. So, the rooms are still large and the situation still exceptional but everything starts looking a bit run down. People at the reception are nice but management is careless. As an example, the cleaning ladies, faster than...

I have been staying in this hotel for the past three weeks as I am on business here. It is a lovely little hotel with an amazing location on the Lagoon of Venice. The employees are all very friendly, the food is excellent!! I eat dinner very often and the chef is very consistent with the quality of food he...

Selected this hotel only because of its lagoon view rooms. Yes, the lagoon view is there, but, the accommodation was not pleasant. There was a very unpleasant sewage smell in the kitchen area of room 213. Also, the bedroom air ventilation was covered with dust and the room thermostat was blinking "change filter". It is a suite, small sized room...

A surprise trip to propose to my (now) fiancée – this hotel is in a perfect location, adjacent to the water taxis which will take you directly in to the heart of Venice. We used Google Maps throughout our visit, to time the boat rides over to Venice each day. Having said that, they are very frequent (at least every ten...

Amazing staff, gorgeous view, excellent restaurant and a central location on Lido. The entire place is magical. We reserved the room with a garden (room number 5), and it is a slice of heaven to be honest. The view is spectacular, the staff are extremely helpful, and the restaurant is brilliant. We will definitely come back.

Was planning a 4 night stay in Venice - for the very first time - to meet up with family who were travelling around Italy. Opted to look at staying outside the old city - and focused efforts on the Lido - just 10 minute vaparetto ride to P. San Marco. Read the reviews about Villa Laguna - and booked...

Away from the busy San Marco but only a ten minute boat away, with frequent service, this hotel is a great option. The hotel has a nice terrace for breakfast and dinner, and a bar area on the water. The view is fantastic. Very conveniently located next to the water bus stop and the main road to the other side...
