We were traveling from Utah to Big Sky MT. Due to weather, the road was closed with no time for reopening. We drove back to Island Park and stopped at Ponds Lodge. We were warmly greeted. Cabins were available so we booked one for the night. When we entered the cabin, we found a newly refurbished room. The bathroom was...

We go to Ponds Lodge all the time to eat and have drinks and love it. We normally stay at Lakeside Lodge which we love! Lakeside was completely booked so we decided to give Ponds Lodge a try. #31-3 was a small room with a bath room, no coffee pot, no chair, and walls so thin that we heard the...

I know Pond's has some terrific properties and cabins, but I was unfortunately placed into the 'Bunk House' because I had a dog. $170 for 1 person for this dumpy old cabin? Really? I would recommend anyone visiting to stay in any Pond's cabins but these.

We could only stay one night and were glad to find a reasonably priced option at Ponds Lodge. They have much nicer cabins but we booked one that fit our needs with two bedrooms and a loft with three queen beds. They were right there on the Buffalo River and we had a fire pit for the family out back...

Surrounded by beautiful wildflowers, very close to the lake, our cabin had both a front and back porch. A duplex kind of set up, our cabin connected to another one via a great room with a full kitchen. The breakfast buffet at the nearby restaurant (also with the same name) did not open until 8. We were told that someone...

Although we were staying at a different location felt this bar and its bar food deserved recognition for its stand alone part of the site. Excellent service, good beer, good food and very helpful barmaids.

My wife and I with our two dogs drove from Seattle to Yellowstone Park for four nights of camping and four nights at a lodge in Wyoming. We planned to spend the first night in West Yellowstone but the reservations were wrong so we were stuck there at 8:00 at night with no rooms available in WY. At the check...

Stayed here while attending a wedding in the area. Our first accommodation was terrible!!! Last room available when we made our reservation. There were only two of us and our cabin could have slept at least twelve. The sofas were worn out, one door had holes where someone had punched holes in it and one door had no door knob....

These are fairly basic cabins but is a good place to stay. You are right near Ponds which is ace real place in Island Park and has more conveniences nearby (including food and entertainment) than some other areas. It is not a luxury resort but you are in Island Park. So you don't want to be indoors anyway.
