We have stayed a few times before and loved it. The rooms "have" always been clean and the staff friendly. However after overhearing the shocking conversation between your employees one was a short older lady the other tall and skinny both hispanic. The short one just kept going off, it was horrible. I wont go into detail with what was...

Excellent staff and managers, excellent customer service. Older hotel, but clean and a good price. Very firm mattress. Coffee, fruit and pastries in the morning. Homemade brownies were delicious. Would stay here again.

The Downtown Inn is a 1960s era motel. As such, the outlets in the room are few for those needing to recharge their electronic equipment, and the lighting is minimal. The owners are refurbishing the rooms as of January 2016, so there are a few inconveniences associated with that. The roads nearby are quiet at night and the police station...

We completed replacement of the outlets. Our bathroom lighting is also being upgraded. It makes me wonder how folks 50 years ago got along, they must have had better eye sight in those days. I know one thing men were a lot manlier then, than those we see around today.

It is what it is. It's an older building, the owners have done a phenomenal job of brining it back. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. Would stay there again, and can't say that about quite a few of the places we have stayed at. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is because there is...

If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel to base out of this is it. Our room was clean, with basic bed, chair, small table with chairs, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and the surprise a 55 inch TV. The decor is definately retro decor, the 70's pink sink, tub, and toilet was great. Felt like I was at my...

We really wanted a room closer to the south side of Nampa, but all the other motels/hotels were along the freeway on the north side, so we chose this one even though the phone number shown on Trip Advisor doesn't work and they didn't respond to our e-mail. Bad plan. We were told it was "The Best Room!" I feel...

It's always difficult taking responsibility. But here it goes. First a big apology. To begin, I am very concerned about your safety. If possible, could you please provide more info on the dangerous brick obstacle. Could it be the landscape rock in the median? Venting, we have successfully used the same venting system for over sixty years. It consists of...

Ok, no pool, no "free breakfast..." but if you like, clean, rooms, nicely appointed, personal attention, passionate owners. then come here. I loved this place. The fixtures in the bathroom were "retro," but carefully maintained.

The Downtown Inn, which is family owned and managed motel is an excellent and comfortable location to explore the Nampa/Caldwell/Boise/Treasure Valley area. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with an good bed, microwave and refrigerator. The was a good selection of Cable TV channels. The place has a competent and friendly feel, which starts at the top with the...

I stayed three nights in August, 2012. The single bed room had a fridge, microwave, flat screen TV (about 27"), table and two chairs. WiFi is free but less than 1 megabit speed. Some time in the last year the rooms were painted and got new linoleum and water saver toilets in the bathrooms. Tubs and sinks are still pink,...
