We visited Schweitzer in the summer and it was fabulous! There were 5 of us and we stayed in the White Pine Lodge. The room was way above my expectations. It was like an apartment with a full kitchen and 2 nice bedrooms. Generally, it would have been a pricey place to stay but because we went in the summer,...

We had the best time ever and can't wait to go back! My family was very excited for our visit to Silverwood Theme Park but after arriving at the mountain with the amazing views and fun activities the kids forgot all about the roller coasters and had fun looking for wildlife(we saw deer everyday). This was our first trip to...

Thank you so much for the very kind review. I'm so glad you enjoyed the amenities around the resort. Sorry about the construction noise. I'm not sure who is building there but we can certainly ask them to respect the community rules and not begin until 8am. Thanks again for the feedback, Devin M

WE had a room on the 3rd floor on the end. Not that many folks here. Just missed a huckleberry fest. Great pool outside with 3 hot tubs. Had 2 queen beds that were great to sleep in. There is no refrig or microwave. There is a small workout room. Most of the stores are closed. The life does run...

Thanks so much for the kind review. We really appreciate it. It was a bummer to have such hazy days with smoke from wildfires. I hope you can return again when the views are on display. Thanks again, Devin

We made a last minute reservation to stay here on our way back to Canada. All hotels were booked from Seattle to Sandpoint and we were very lucky to book one of the last rooms in Sandpoint at this lodge. We found that all the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Our room was...

Thanks for your feedback. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the bed, next time just ask and we'd be happy to remove the foam topper for you. Thanks again for your kind response. We hope to see you again soon. Devin M.

An incredibly expensive broom closet with broken appliances and the worlds loudest heater. $280 gets you a bed... and thats it. If you bring your snowboard up to dry, its 100 bucks extra. The front desk staff have no idea how to work the check in system, and the gormet breakfast you are promised is powdered eggs and cerial. Despite...

skibumcrossna, I'm so sorry that our accommodations did not meet your expectations. I hope you'll allow us the opportunity to try better next time. I might also suggest our newer and larger units in the White Pine lodge next time, perhaps those would better suite your needs. Thanks for the honest feedback.

This resort has a 14 day advanced cancelation policy. My husband and I booked this for a romantic ski trip weekend a month and a half ago. We figured there would lots of snow and this mountain is one of our favorites to ski. We live about 2 hours away from the mountain so never booked a room here before....

Vacationer A, Thank you for the feedback. With our limited inventory we do have more stringent cancellation policies than some hotels. I'm sorry if you felt that was not made clear to you. If you'll allow us, let's try again and I'll happily upgrade you to a deluxe room that does have a fridge and microwave. Thanks for the feedback.

This is a great resort, with great service and great skiing! They have a lot of things going on like kids crafts, snowshoeing and skiing, a great family get away! My biggest bummer this year was no fireworks on New Years!! Also they should have something going on at Chimny Rock so that there is something else to do besides...

This beautiful and 'classy' hotel at Schweitzer Ski Resort is a great experience for some of us that don't ski any longer. We stayed here for one night before New Years Eve and were treated as if we were Royalty. Front desk staff, Lydia, Hailey and Michael Layeaux were more than accommodating... they apologized that they were short a bellman...

Very expensive for what you get. False advertising by resort manager to lure customers into visiting Schweitzer. No WiFi in room. It is not the largest ski resort in Idaho- Sun Valley is the largest. Snow reports are often inaccurate. Hot tubs weren't working. Old slow lifts to the best ski runs. Food in Chimney Rock Restaurant was overpriced and...
