We stayed here utilizing the park and fly option. When we got to the hotel, the lime green sofa in the lobby was clearly filthy. stained and misshapen, We got our room key for the third floor and on the walk to the elevator and to our room, I could see the hallway carpets had not been vacuumed. Large chunks of dirt and debris littered the corners and edges of the hall. The elevator smelled of dirty socks and the elevator sign showing the most recent elevator inspection was dated 2018, five years earlier. It was no surprise that the elevator was out of order the next morning and we had to make our way down three flights of stairs with our luggage. The areas marked for vending machines were bare. Nothing but dirt and loose ceiling tiles. The little store by the front desk was depleted and had little to nothing to offer. The room was moderately clean having observed dirt on the walls in the bathroom, everything else seemed in place. Waiting for the shuttle, I refused to sit on the filthy sofa in the lobby, choosing instead the hard table in front of the sofa. Aware of the filth around me, I did not have faith in the cleanliness of the breakfast and did not partake. We had booked a park and fly for February at the same time we booked our January stay. I cancelled my February stay and likely will not return to this hotel ever. The review titled "A hotel that doesn't seem to care is spot on!"…
Attended the annual BMS Holiday Dinner Dance. Food was exceptional. Hall was clean well maintained and with festive decorations. Service was fantastic could have used a better quality of tequila . also need a larger parking lot.
I was very disappointed with my 1 night stay at this location. I checked in with a reservation for a King bed once I walked in the room I had 2 queen beds. I pulled the covers back on one of the beds and found the sheets to be dirty including hair in the bed. I immediately went back to the front desk and the clerk never apologized for condition of the room after me repeating to him twice about the condition of the room and it took him a little while to figure out how to give me another room. Once he was able to find me another room I went to that room and found that once again I was given a room with 2 queen beds. The following morning I found out when I turn on the hot water in the sink, there was no water flow but there was flow for the cold water. The shower had very low water pressure. After I had my breakfast, I stopped by the front desk to speak with the manager but was told that the manager was not in. I explained my problem with the clerk who only offered me $25.00 off my room. This facility does not look to be that old but just looking at the appearance of inside this building it is not being maintained.…
This hotel charged my credit card for an additional night after I checked out. I presented my credit card for incidentals upon check in and after I got home later I found the charge. I noticed the charge because I have a credit card that I present only for incidentals. So there should not have been any hotel charges on the incidental card.
We did a park/fly/stay at this hotel. They did have water in there little store and I had to walk to the adjacent Holiday Inn to get it. Upon returning they couldn’t get us back to the hotel because of the Uber services they used. They sent two cars one of which couldn’t take our luggage because they were and only had room for passengers. The second car went to the wrong pick up point at the airport and expected us to run upstairs to get to him. We had seven people on this trip and all our luggage. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anybody.
It was very nice clean stay for me and my family. I would recommend this hotel for anyone. The breakfast was awesome the swimming pool and hot tub was clean the rooms were clean it was right by a airport but that didn't seem to bother any of us at all.
Stayed here while I had to get a connecting flight. Very poor room. Tatty and really unclean feel about the whole experience. The carpets were sticky. The coffee was really poor. The bathroom was actually clean but the bed linen felt grubby
My husband and I stayed here for a quick overnight stay before our early flight. We did not try the breakfast. The Good: Reasonably priced, offers shuttle service to O’hare at times other hotels don’t. The Bad: Shuttle from O’hare was difficult to spot, it is an unmarked passenger van with just a printed sign on the windshield. You have to call the front desk to order the shuttle, which isn’t advertised. Our driver was very rude and grouchy, and there were too many passengers for the van so a group ended up sitting on each other’s laps. The return trip from hotel to O’hare had a more pleasant driver. We asked for a printed receipt and they had us hand-write an email on a piece of paper for it. Still haven’t seen a receipt 12-hours later. The Ugly: We noticed instantly that the lobby, hallways, and elevator were filthy. We had hoped maybe it was just a busy day and staff were unable to keep up that day. When we got to the room it felt dirty too. We are hoping the sheets were just badly stained, but they definitely seemed unwashed. We found several hairs and lint in them. The tub was also dirty looking and had hairs, and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. It was late and we were desperate so we dealt with it for the night, but neither of us slept well because the whole place just felt dirty and “off”. We will not stay here again.…
We checked into our room at 4:53 am first we went to gym the treadmills has gunk on it but everything else in the gym was ok some broken machines but that’s usual then we decided to go to the pool we saw the most disgusting pool area we’ve seen in our life’s the area felt like a dirty swamp people partying Blasting music outside hair on the pool floors hair in the pool dirty sheets on the bed 100% hallways smelled like something died in it then when we opened up the fridge there was a moldy sandwich in there.
Decent room, good breakfast, cool pool but hot tub, nice staff, WiFi was poor in our room, close to O'Hare. take the shuttle to the airport and take the train downtown is better than driving and paying parking downtown
