Small Park with pull thrus and full hook ups. Very easy to reach from I55. Peggy, the person I worked with was very nice and accommodating. The Sawmill BBQ is right on the property and the food is great.

I dislike negative reviews, but of the 20 some odd parks we've stayed at this year, this ranks 2nd worst. Pros: Nice management, great BBQ restaurant on site, under 10 minutes from downtown. Cons: Short narrow sites, so tight that you cannot extend your awning. Horrible road noise, unsightly junk stored in the middle of the park, poor grading that...

First off, let me say the people that run this park are very nice. I witnessed a confrontational situation and they handled it professionally. Other reviews mention the convince to St. Louis, the pool, and the restaurant which are all perks as well. As far as the park, it sucks. They are long pull through sites split in half. We...

This campground is a great home base for exploring St. Louis. It's only about a 5 minute drive from the city with easy in and out access. If you are looking for a "back-to-nature" camping experience this is not the place for you - go to the state park up the road. If you are looking to explore St. Louis,...

We were visiting friends on the Illinois side of the river and the casino campground doesn't open until April 1. So, based on Good Sam reviews, we gave it a try. We won't go back. The campground sits in the middle of an industrial area. So we listened to trucks, trains and planes during the night. The grounds need some...

We stayed here from 5/27/2015 to 7/21/ 2015. The office staff was friendly and helpful. There was an abundance of rain during our stay which contributed to the sewer smell that other reviewers are talking about. We saw a sewer truck twice during our stay working on the sewer system. The sites are of average size and the website describes...

I called twice and he said he didn't take reservations, but when we arrived after hours there were several people who made a reservation. The place is unkept, patches of green with gravel. I wouldn't dare take a shower in a puddled restroom. There was a really nice lady who was staying there for several months and helped me find...

This park is not as described on their website. It was very poor quality. The air smelled bad, the sites smelled bad. The sites were small and dirty. There are several people here that live full time. The pool was very small. I would not recommend this park. The only benefit of this park is the proximity to the arch....

We selected this site as a base to see St Louis and it worked our perfectly. Although over the bridge into IL it is only a 10 minute drive to get to all the attractions of St Louis and The Arch on the West back of the Mississippi River. Site has a heated pool, good facilities, and a BBQ Restaurant...

This park is horrible. It is dirty, the bathrooms and showers were ok but not sparkling like advertised. The entire park smelled like sewage. The area is very industrial and scary. The sites were lame, fire rings are tire rims. There is barely any grass. There are lots of workers that stay here. Lots of people live here, too. Others...
