We stayed for the weekend and were not disappointed. I’m one of those people that do tons of research before choosing a hotel. This one is priced well and is so cozy and welcoming. We stayed in one of the city view rooms which I would totally recommend. The night before I got a notification on the Hilton app saying it’s time to choose my room and I was able to choose a corner room with a view of the city on both sides and it was quite large. Being able to choose your room and know which one you’ll be in when you arrive is great. This hotel is in a great spot and only a few minute walk to an L train station for all of your transportation needs. The neighborhood is pretty quiet from what I saw. We loved the full size pump bottles in the bathroom of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap. The front desk staff was always welcoming and answered any questions I had. I would recommend the skyline room. We stayed in room 1815 and had a great view of the city. The only downsides were that the windows were quite dirty and the parking garage was tiny but I understand those aren’t necessarily problems that can be fixed easily. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else looking for a place to stay in Chicago.…
I have always thought people who post with staff names, make up the experience or just a little fishy lol. Then I had great visit here in Chicago. Daniel at front desk (think it was his name) and Annette at breakfast. Daniel really treated me And my son like royality and felt truly special, even as he dealt with other guests who weren't the most polite. He went out of his way to take care of us. Annette went out of her way to get my boy fruit loops and even remembered the next day , as well as a to go cup. Her sincere care and interaction left a great impression on my son and I. Positives of this location are also it's location being walking distance to union station, oglive, french market and Clinton CTA station. If coming in by train this is a must stay. This is our 5th visit here and even more reason we will be back once again!…
It's one of the best hotel stays we've had in a long time. The service was very good and the corner room we were assigned to was excellent. We had a good night's rest and the breakfast the next morning was quite satisfying. The ambience around the breakfast area is excellent, too. We will surely use this hotel again pretty soon!
Forgot to write my review before and recently stayed at another Hampton Inn & Suites which reminded me. We had a quick 48 hr trip to Chi-town to see The Weekend at soldier field. We had a king bedroom with an awesome city view. We walked a lot because the hotel is close to so many restaurants and bars . We also walked to Naval Pier. And due to traffic leaving Soldier Field we walked back home. So definitely location in West Loop was ideal. Room was very clean and comfortable. Because we had such a short stay, and we had so many things packed into the two days we were there, I did not get to really explore the hotel and it’s full accommodations. So I did not get to go to the pool, and I did not get to do the continental breakfast. But me and my husband agree that we love the hotel in the locations so when we return, the Chicago will probably be staying here again.…
Love HI's and this was a classic example why. Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and a decent breakfast. Great location and front desk staff too. Would stay again! Didn't realize they have a pool too!
Great hotel in great location! Would definitely stay here again.Rooms we’re nice, staff were friendly and the free breakfast was better than expected. We took the blue line CTA from Ohare and it was an easy 10 minute walk from the Clark St. station. We had a high floor city view room with great views to the South and West.
We live in Chicago, so we really know Chicago and its hotels. This location is a quick Uber ride or short walk to many Chicago attractions. The hotel is new and clean, and the free breakfast and beer tap exceeded our expectations in the spacious common area. If it were warmer the outdoor deck would be perfect for cocktails and conversation. Ignore the sensationalized news - Chicago is a safe and beautiful city! Enjoy your trip.
This hotel has it all and we only wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy all of the amenities. The staff was incredible and the breakfast was superb! We attended the Blackhawks game and the location was just perfect for our ride to and from via UBER.
Had the most amazing time this hotel location is near stores hospitals and shopping clean and beautiful views staff was very welcoming and friendly amenities where close and has a garage for you car couldn’t ask for more 100 recommended
The Hotel was nice, Clean and staff friendly, The Beds are extremely hard. The breakfast was average for a Hampton Inn, the Scrambled Eggs tasted like the were microwaved in a bag. The Muffins were stale. Over all I would stay there again
