Let me start by saying this being rated 4.5 star I had high expectations. It is a nice location on the river and central to a lot of things. The staff was friendly and the room spacious. We had a great view of the river and Navy Pier as well. Double twin beds was a little disappointing for a nice...

Stayed there 3 nights during a business trip, and the hotel is best example of average in all counts.....rooms are quite dated and definitely need an upgrade or renovation. Rooms not spotless clean, basic clean but not perfect. Room has a good size and is quite comfortable. Working area also good, but definitely the fact that there are not enough...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your detailed feedback. All of the items you noted will soon be addressed. Until then, we continue to offer the largest guest rooms, best views in Chicago, and a location convenient to all of the attractions. We are terribly sorry it took so long for your car to be retrieved. This is unusual and we...

Location is about 2 blocks from Michigan Ave, and about 4 blocks to Miracle Mile shopping. Really there was almost zero to complain about here. The check in was amazingly easy and friendly. The rooms themselves are roomy, nicely done, comfortable beds, quiet. It was easy to work in my room, and sleep quality is excellent. My only concern was...

Dear Guest, We're glad you were pleased with the hotel and the services. All of Chicago's attractions are within a short block of the hotel, including the new and ever-expanding River Walk restaurants and Millennium Park. Also, maybe next time you will have an opportunity to take advantage of our Vitality offers - boot camp, spin, and walking/jogging routes detailed...

Not enough security in this hotel. Anyone off the street has access to all floors in this hotel. only guests with room keys should be able to navigate the hotel guest room floors. Check out services was awful. Employees need better customer training.

very nice hotel in terrific location. Walk to dinner, shopping and landmarks. Excellent staff and beautiful rooms. Quiet and nestled on the point with views of the Navy Pier on one side of the hotel. I attended a conference that was held at the Swissotel. The cost of my hotel room at a group rate was still a bit pricey, but the service & cleanliness was well worth the price! Will definitely stay again!

This hotel is what you would expect from the Swissotel. I saw some negative reviews of the hotel concerning the rooms and I was scared at first, but after checking in, I am not sure what the fuss was about. The room (3901) was nicely appointed and had a mini refrigerator in it. There is no microwave available in the...

Thank you for staying with us. You're correct, the pedway does access the Thompson Center, and, in fact, most of Chicago's loop. Chicago is a wonderful walking city on the street level, but if you need to avoid inclement weather, the pedway is excellent. Our front desk colleagues have maps to help guide you. We also offer information on our...

For most upscale hotels you almost have to be snobbish or act demanding to get attention. Not so with Swissotel, Chicago. Staff are warm and welcoming. Public areas are clean and open. The location is excellent and views can be stunning. Ask for a room up high (I was on the 39th floor) overlooking Navy Pier/waterway.

This is beautiful resort, very modern, very hospitable. However, I felt the restaurant was sub par in appearance, food and prices. $7 for a cup of tea and $5 for a cup of coffee is robbery. Overall, a good experience here, just would definitely eat elsewhere next time.

Dear Guest, In addition to our breakfast restaurant, Geneva, we also offer Amuse in the lobby, which proudly serves Starbucks and a full continental-style breakfast. In the pedway attached to the hotel, there are numerous other coffee shops - all just steps away. We hope to see you again soon.
