It's pretty cool this hostel. Bedrooms are organized and beds are comfortable ... bathrooms are ok, except some ladies that love to do a mess and don't keep clean common places. Breakfast is ok, with bread, butter, jelly, juice, cereals, milk and coffee. Can be a little noise during the night because under the hostel has a bar. I super...

This is probably one of the best hostels I stayed in whilst travelling America. The location is perfect for everything. In the middle of some very nice Greek Restaurants, very close to the train station if coming from the airport. I shared a room with 5 other females and the rooms are very spacious and very clean. Bathrooms and showers...

What stands out in my memory was a huge vat of oatmeal (porridge) as part of a hearty breakfast. The dorm rooms were comfortable, clean sheets. The communal fridge was great for keeping food in. Friendly staff. Best of all-- the LOCATION! It's less than 10 minutes' walk to the Amtrak station AND the subway station you get out at...

This place is fantastic, i stayed there this week for one night. It's really cheap for what it is, i payed $28 for a dorm room which i am guessing due to the time of year only had 2 others in it, one of whom was hardly there so it felt like a private room pretty much. It has a...

We had a six night stay in Chicago, so I looked for a place that was affordable and included a good breakfast. The main building was under construction, close to the end of the project. It looks very good so far! We stayed in the other building, first floor. It has a kitchen and sitting areas. Negatives: the floors being...

We LOVE this guest house! The price is student friendly, the location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is very hospitable. This year we brought 30 students, community members, and faculty for a 3 day field trip to Chicago, and stayed at the Parthenon. Our University has been bringing students to the Parthenon for the...

We booked here because HI Hostel was full for Lollapaloza. This is a very tired building in need of basic maintenance. We got room 301, top floor: no reading lamps, mattress wrapped in plastic that made it hot to sleep, and weak A/C on 90+ degree days. Thin walls, doors that close badly, single-paned windows that let in outside noise...

Went for a weekend in Chicago to see the Coldplay concert. Stayed two nights in a private room. We chose this hostel because it was cheaper by ~$50-$100 to stay TWO nights here than ONE night in a hotel. Nothing extraordinary, but you get what you pay for. Room is simple with a nice, comfortable queen bed and three dressers....
