I really liked the flooring. Wood or a wood look hard flooring. Very clean in comparison to traditional carpeting. We stayed on the 9th floor and thought it was quiet. Bed and pillows were perfect for us. Very comfortable. Heat/AC worked great. Bathroom spacious with...More
Room was great. Location was perfect since we were seeing A Christmas Carol right accross the street. Damn Garrett popcorn killed us since its right at the front door. Ended up in line for an hour but it was worth it. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of
the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.

I was hesitant about valet parking here too, and so we did self-park at a garage about a block away. That saved ~$25/night. But in hindsight, there wasn't anything to worry about with the valet. The valet attendants were very friendly as our family entered and exited the hotel, and I'm sure if we'd just pulled up with blinkers there wouldn't have been a problem for them to park the car.
Have a safe trip!
