Great location for the hotel. Food, shops in walking distance. Easy to find the hotel. Close to downtown, but far enough away. The staff was readily available and took great care of us. The hotel felt secure. Loading and unloading of luggage was a bit challenging because of the small entrance area.

My girlfriend and I have stayed at Hyatt House Chicago/West loop twice before. The primary reason we stay at Hyatt House West Loop is the location. It is so conveniently located to restaurants, entertainment, night life, etc. We generally hang out in the West Loop/Fulton Market area. This property is always clean, the staff is courteous, parking in the garage is convenient, although not many spots. We stayed in a studio suite which had a kitchen, island table where I could work at, separate sitting area and a nice size TV. It isn't the fanciest hotel but the location and cleanliness make it so worthwhile. Being a Hyatt Globalist there are many Hyatt choices in Chicago including Park Hyatt, Thompson, etc. But we consistenly stay at Hyatt House. We'll definitely be back.

While the hotel itself has large modern rooms and the facility is nice, the staff are clueless about everything from parking and restaurant recommendations to the schedule for room service (which they only provide once a week). They told us we would at least have the trash taken out and get fresh towels during our four night stay but then the maid left without doing so. We had to beg the front desk twice before they gave us fresh towels. I would advise finding a nice Airbnb property instead.

Check in experience was poor. Was left waiting for about 10 min before someone showed up. Hotel service isn't good at all. Their market place is constantly empty for simple things such as water. The lobby and elevators don't seem sanitary and you can tell that they don't have people to disinfect the premise. Hand sanitizer stations are always left empty to the point where I questioned why it was even there. Housekeeping was another issue. We would leave the room early in morning and return at 8-9 pm to find the room not cleaned. Even after requesting it multiple times before leaving the room, it still was left undone. I don't blame housekeeping staff as I feel like its a communication issue b/w front desk staff and housekeeping. But that was a constant issue for us during our stay. Another disappointing service factor was we had gone downstairs to ask for some towels and water and the front desk said they would send someone up to bring it to us, but that never happened. We waited 2 hours for someone to come and just gave up. Laundry facility is basic but not clean. I would NOT recommend staying here at all. Much better hotels in the area but If laundry facility is a definite necessity for you, stay at the residence inn in the loop, much better and cleaner.…

Great staff and facilities. The location is phenomenal as well. The bar tender is the BEST in the CITY hands down (super great guy that cares about ALL his patrons, whether you're a 1st timer or frequent visitor). Wake up to a great breakfast and friendly staff everywhere you interact as well.

Hotel was clean and had good amenities. Very small parking garage, so you're planning to use it, get there close to check-in. Breakfast is good, and the bar area was nice with a view. Nice exercise facility.

This hotel was as I expected. It was clean, but nothing special. Staff was friendly. Breakfast selection was good. Bed was comfortable. Convenient location to our activities. They accommodated our parking by giving us a few extra hours before needing to leave the garage. We appreciated that.

We live out of state so due to a day after surgery check up we stayed overnight. Great indoor parking and location was close to the hospital. Very comfortable. Bar Menu is somewhat limited. Free breakfasts was available.

The Hyatt was great as to be expected, but the real amazing part of our stay was provided by Armani at the bar; his dedication to his guests comfort was truly impressive. Not only did he cater a wonderful experience, but was incredibly friendly as well. 10/10 would recommend!
