The Hyatt House is a very nice hotel, but the parking can be a challenge. They do have onsite parking (we were told is $20 a pass, but was never offered or told how we could get one of those passes). They said the 2 nights that we were there all the onsite parking was sold out. We had 2 options, park at a ramp that was 1 block a way for $30 a night or park at another ramp that was 2 blocks away for $20 a night. You are allowed to park out front to unload, etc., but it is an inconvenience to say the least. The breakfast was very good.
The parking at this facility is the absolute worst in the city. And the customer support for overcharges that I am left stuck with is deplorable. I will never stay here again. Promised me a king size bed and room and only Queen available after I paid.
We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to Rush Hospital down the road. The lobby is bright and spacious with nice sized rooms. Key cards are necessary to use the elevator to your floor and appeared to be clean and well maintained. Bathroom was clean and maintained with soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser on the wall. Bedding was also clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have was the very limited parking on site. There was none available during our stay which required us to park off site and walk back to the hotel. Be aware of this if you have health conditions that inhibit you from walking a city block.
Looked interesting on the app. Location was perfect for a business dinner in Oak Park. Wine list in lounge could use an upgrade. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Bed and linens were top tier. Very creative design. I’ll be back!
Good and perfect for an affordable price and new hotel, quiet, very comfortable. Nice location, a few miles from downtown Chicago. Fitness room is big and spacious, elevator operates off card activation, no push buttons.
This hotel met our immediate needs as my husband was having surgery at Rush (just down the street). Our room was very clean and bed very comfortable. The common areas were clean, bright, and uplifting. Having to stay at the hotel alone a couple of nights I appreciated the level of security having to use one’s room key to get to one’s floor. The food selections are limited to a bar menu but it was very good and the abundant free breakfast selection was very welcomed. The staff seemed to really care about the guests experience and that was much appreciated. I would stay there again.
Nice Hotel with a great location if you are attending a game at the United Centre. I would of gave the Hotel a 5 star if the staff member was slightly accommodating. She did not care at all. Very unprofessional, in my opinion. The other staff members were very good Unfortunately that staff member ruined my experience.
I stayed here with my son who has significant special needs and staff went above and beyond to help us. Food was amazing - we ate here both days and breakfast was lovely - staff were so great to help us with everything.
Beautiful Hotel. Marble floors in the hallways, and large spacious rooms with modern furniture. Building was easy to find. Interesting elevator system that requires your door key to activate. Food at the bar on the second floor was good.
Excellent hotel to stay in; best customer service greatest complimentary breakfast and rooms spotless clean most importantly the safety they provide using room keys is the only way up to rooms, cafeteria, and lounge felt very safe and so very comfortable
