We recently stayed the weekend of June 15th, 2013 at the W Hotel for my brother-in-law's wedding. It was a joyous and enjoyable weekend in Chicago for our entire family. For the most part, the hotel was accomodating until Sunday morning, when we called for our car from valet parking. When we came down to our car to leave, our...

I stayed in one of those small rooms others were talking about, I'll just reiterate, it is a tiny room, but who travels to hang out in the room? The hotel was great, the restaurant ipo had a great lunch, all the staff are very friendly, hotel seems old but well kept and very clean, overall a great place to...

We had a wonderful stay at the W Hotel this past weekend. We were upgraded to one of the "Fabulous" rooms and it was amazing! All of the staff were very friendly, especially Eden down at the concierge desk. She recommended a really good restaurant for breakfast and gave us a "magical card" that allowed us to skip the long...

My companion and I chose to stay at the W because with all the traveling we just wanted a different experience from the marriotts, hiltons, hyatts and other big boxes. Although though the W is part of a big box - it has a different look and feel...very chic mixed with old world decor. The Living Room/lounge and bar are...

This hotel is an excellent location for a business meeting in the Chicago area. I have stayed here many times. Do not park a car here. The hotel will charge $50 for parking per day plus it takes at least 15 mins to get your car via valet. If you are arriving from Ohare, I would take the CTA blue...

I had my worst hotel experience ever at this W. Ever. I was booked in a "cosy" room which was basically a closet. While it did have the signature "Heavenly Bed," it basically took up the whole room. There was a desk, but even with the chair tucked in you could barely get past. Not sure there was enough room...

Tom, the concierge at W Chicago, recommended a spectacular restaurant for me for dinner. It was called Roka Akor, and there I had the best meal I've ever eaten in my life. I ordered the Omakase (chef's choice) and it was mind-blowing. So that made my stay at W Chicago wonderful.

I stayed there during a business trip for 5 days. When they charged for around $500 per night, I was expecting something spectacular. My suit turned out to be decent--clean and spacious--but nothing extraordinary. The location is hard to bit though. I would definitely stay there again, just not on my dimes.

“The room that I got was on the 19th floor and it's slightly annoying that you have to remember to have your key card out in the elevator in order to select the floor. The room I had felt a little sterile and the sheets were less than fluffy but I was not there long enough for this to be an issue. The amenities are great at the W - the hand lotion feels more like bee's wax but maybe that's a good thing when it's 12 degrees outside. ”
