If you are looking for a really cool hotel in a good location with a fun hipster vibe - then this is the place for you. BUT, if you actually need to get some sleep in your cool hotel room - find another place.
Had an awesome stay at Longman & Eagle this past week while travelling for business. Expo downtown caused hotels to skyrocket and was looking for something non-chain based to stay. Found L&E online and couldn't believe the price for such a trendy, local part of...More

I would say that it's a good 15-20 min can ride and taxis readily available (standard or Über....I generally use Über); also the Logan Square blue line "L" stop is conveniently located across the street from L&E. You're robably unlikely to get a room there over the weekend without 2 months advance planning. Given the charm and affordable nature of this inn it books up quickly. The beds are not that large nor are the rooms except for the largest and most expensive one; think European inn here. The L&E website provides great descriptions of each of the 6 rooms.
