Good value hotel. Comfortable beds and bedding. Upper floors have cool views. Convenient -- location, location, location. Kitchenette in room just a microwave and refrigerator, so no real value here. Free water bottle station on select floors is great. Although restaurant connected to hotel has pleasant outdoor seating, thought food was bad (meatball pasta and kale salad) Complimentary coffee drink...

For the money this hotel is hard to beat. The location is perfect. You are only a few moments WALKING distance from the train/subway, millennium park, a slew of shops and restaurants, the magnificent mile, and the navy pier. The beds are comfy, the sheets and bathrooms were clean, and the room was a perfect size. The lobby is small...

Perfect location, excellent nicely-furnished contemporary room and fabulous food to make our stay in the Windy City a memorable experience. Love the filtered water available to refill your own bottles.

The River Hotel is the part of Club Quarters. Club Quarters is a business membership hotel and the River Hotel is open to non-members. It's on the lower floor of the building, but I believe it's the same, otherwise. Small room, but nice sized bathroom and the sink/vanity is in the room, outside the toilet and shower area. Very small...

This was our first time travelling to Chicago. We were unsure where to stay but read the reviews for the River Hotel and the price was extremely reasonable compared to other hotels in this location. The location was amazing!! We were travelling with our 18 month old and we were very happy that we were within walking distance to most...

Excellent location for this officiant and compact hotel. We were able to walk to almost every attraction that we wanted to visit. Although the rooms are small-ish, it has everything that you could possibly need: fridge, microwave, glasses, utensils, dishes, stove top, etc. You could certainly make yourself very comfortable and have meals here if you don't want to pay...

We stayed there for four nights. The room was remodeled and current. The bed was very comfortable. The free bottled water was very convenient and a huge plus. The front desk staff was very helpful with everything, especially Roman. The business center was great, printed out tickets and boarding passes easily. The location was perfect. It was close to everything....

I researched about a dozen hotels and chose The River Hotel for a three night stay in Chicago. The price was comparable, if not better than most of the other properties I was considering and it was on the river. I was going to ask for a room with a view, but before I even got to it, Pedro had...

The River is a fabulous hotel. The rooms are well designed, use beautiful fabrics,is well planned, extremely comfortable, have many electrical outlets, boast fabulous amenities, and the staff is best in all of Chicago, Pedro, Brian, and Roman, especially, went out of their way to accommodate each guest and make everyone feel at home and comfortable. Their attitude was sincere...

We stopped at this hotel for five nights and it was excellent. We had a great room on the fifth floor overlooking the river. Our bedroom was very big and clean. Had everything we needed and the filtered water machine for filling bottles to take out was useful. Hotel is in a great location and everything in walking distance. Many...
