Great hostel, very friendly staff, great value for money, and delicious pancakes for breakfast. Sam greeted me my first night and carried my bag up to my room, which I found very kind - all other staff showed a similar level of genuine concern for the well-being of all the guests, and they were very fun to hang out with!

We used the hostel for an overnight stay with a group of 13 exchange students on their way to Minnesora the next day. The way to the hostel was described well, it's a 3 min walk from the Blue Line Stop Damen that is easy enough with a big suitcase. Quick an nice reception procedure and check in. Rooms and...

I had a great stay at the hostel, it was in a great location and only took 10 minutes to get into the city via the train! Perfect for any marathon runner who runs Chicago marathon in the future. A very friendly service by all staff and to Sam who showed me round the hostel.

Had to spend a night, and didn't want to wait at the airport. This hostel is on a direct line from the airport, and 2 minutes walk from the station. Comfortable beds, and really clean bathrooms! Staff were super friendly too!

Stayed for 2 nights in the female dorm. Place is in great location, close to train and some bus stops. Lots of places to eat and drink. Met some friendly people in the hostels and also the staffs were very nice and helpful. Bathroom and toilet were clean (except for1 upstairs that had faulty toilet). My only wish was not...

Noisy until abt 3am: hall floors creeked (loudly), people loud in hall, doors slamming. Sounded like it was in the room. Pancakes starting at 6:30 am. NO WAY! I had to leave after 7:30 hungry! I would not stay there again.

Stayed there 3 days for a good price. Luggage service is amazing you can leave it for free which most of the hostels don't have this option. Staff was really friendly. 2 minutes walking distance to Damen Station. Everything was good. Definitly recommend. PS: Thanks for the elevator :)

Accidentally double booked for here + luxury hotel downtown. I ended up staying 1/2 nights and liked my stay here better than the hotel! Me + gf stayed in a private, standard double for a conference. It's a cheap stay but the quality of the hostel is comparable to some of the best hostels I've been to in Europe -...

Perfect hostel in a nice area with lots of bars and restaurants. It's a good place to meet people. Staff was always friendly and helpful. I liked my single room, which was clean and comfortable (only the ac was a bit loud). Only thing I have to complain about are the showers. But the amazing roof terrace makes up for...

Our group of 9 stayed in a room for 10 and had lots of room to spread out. Comfortable beds, showers were plentiful but the entire room was easily soaked even early in the morning. Very friendly staff, some nickle and diming for small charges. Great neighborhood - young and vibrant with good shopping nearby. Steps away from the El...

Wicker Park is one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago for nightlife, restaurants, bars and shopping. Downtown is great for sightseeing but Wicker Park is where you will want to spend all your time. Take a look at our video and see how good our location is. You can literally see the trains on the Blue Line pass by a block away.
