My wife and I stayed at Rays B&B for a wedding. It really is close to downtown Chicago. It has several unique rooms with a Midwestern flair to it. The cook for the breakfast made the BEST meat omelette that I have ever had. We will be stay there again on our next trip to Chicago.

What a wonderful and unique B&B! We felt welcomed the moment we walked through the door. Ray and his staff were positive, helpful and treated us like family. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. Even though we were there for 2 nights, we didn't even begin to explore all the nooks and crannies, or look at all the...

I was having trouble finding a last minute hotel reservation at the places we usually stay in Chicago and came across Ray's and decided to give it a try. It was a lucky find. Located in up and coming Bucktown, Ray's is a very unusual place. Ray himself took my reservation on the phone, and was very cooperative about describing...

Super friendly and accommodating service, we felt very welcome. Eclectic place with all kinds of unique decorating and collections throughout the property. Breakfast was outstanding and fast. (I popped out before they were serving breakfast and got some coffee too). I recommend that you stay here as an alternative to standard area hotels. We had fun exploring the neighborhood. Lots...

Ray's is everything you expect from a good B&B, and much more that makes a stay at Ray's a fun and unique experience. My wife and I spent two nights at Ray's while visiting our son in Chicago. We found Ray's while searching for lodging closer to his neighborhood, and we are so glad we did. If you are reading...

This is really kind of a magical place, unlike any my wife and I have been to. Can't say enough good things about it. Thank you to the staff and to Ray for their hospitality and for creating such a one-of-a-kind place.

Ray's is as good as it gets. From their fabulous breakfasts, wonderful rooms, great staff and incorporated "concierge" (they don't call it that, but it is) service, I cannot imagine spending time in Chicago without being at Ray's! I've never had a request turned down, and been offered things I didn't even know I wanted. Ray is always around, and...

Every November I attend a large medical conference and have been staying at Ray's for the last 10 years and Love it!!! Their breakfast is prepared just for you and is the best of any B&Bs I stay in throughout the country. Ray and his staff make you feel comfortable. The steam and sauna are the perfect end to a...

We booked Ray's as we were visiting a good friend who lives in the Bucktown area of Chicago. She mentioned that there were really no hotels near her, but we did some searching and found Ray's! A few blocks from her. We are so glad we did! It made our visit much easier, but we also just loved staying here!...
