We were a family of 7 reconnecting from different parts of the USA. All of us are native Chicagoans and enjoy hanging out in the City. The owners offered us an excellent last-minute dealfor a 3 night stay that was a great value for their property. They were very sweet, welcoming and offered lots of tips to enjoy the local...

The building is two dwellings, the innkeepers on one side and the patrons on the other. The wall between is very thin; so while hanging out on vacation in the dwelling that you have rented, you can hear the people in the other unit talking, sometimes about you. Also, granted some patrons of B and B's might enjoy this, the...

I hesitate to write this review because I don’t want to subject Trip Advisor readers to the defensive and vituperous remarks these comments will surely generate from the owners of the Old Town B and B. Just look at their responses to other negative reviews and you will have gleaned an accurate picture of their style. We shared our grievances...

Our family of ten met in Chicago over the July 4th weekend. There were 4 bedrooms so everyone had their own bathroom. The house is extremely nice and furnished very tastefully and top of the line. We enjoyed the deck in the evening and certainly enjoyed having a nice family room in addition to the bedrooms. The laundry facilities were...

My friends and I just spent 5 wonderful "girlfriend" days at Old Town Chicago Guest House. This beautifully appointed home is exactly as described. The living room is warm and inviting creating a great space for gathering and talking which girlfriends need. The well stocked kitchen makes the morning so pleasurable and is such a great perk. The beds are...

I highly recommend this rental property. It has everything you could possibly ask for and more! I stayed here recently with a group of friends. This property is perfect for a large group, very spacious. Each of the four bedrooms has it's own private bathroom. All of the rooms are large, and the beds are comfortable. The "common area" includes,...

The place was great! Lizz and Mike were great hosts/landlord/rentors. The furniture and decor was very worldly and elegant. They provided food, great conversation and also had the place all set up for our arrival. The location was perfect: walking distance to the beach, a block away from Old Town restaurants and the best part all cabs knew where the...

I reserved this by seeing the photos online and the B&B website. After talking to Liz, one of the owners, I knew it was the place for me. I was not at all disappointed! In fact, it was one of the best stays I have ever had in Chicago! Liz & Michael are extremely accommodating, gracious and want you to...

Staying at the Old Town Bed and Breakfast was one of the most memorable parts of the weekend. The house is situated in a prime location--in Old Town, near Lake Shore Drive, and minutes away from Downtown Chicago. The house itself is a work of art with its history, architecture, and decor. The hosts are two of the nicest people...

I found this delightful B & B by chance and the Old Town location and inclusive parking permit are ideal for visiting Chicago. However, what made my stay truly memorable were the hosts, Liz and Michael, who could not have been more friendly and helpful and the superb facilities which exceeded expectations set by their website. This is an exceptional...
