Chicago is a very nice city, but as NY all hotels are one aside the other, so the views you get from your room are of buildings. This hotel is located on Michigan Avenue, at 15 minutes, walking distance, from these hotels located in the Magnificent Mile. We asked for a room looking at the Lake, and the view is...

This was my first time at this hotel and I love it. It will not be my last. The staff has been so wonderful and helped me out during the most stressful situations during my work trip. Recital Bryant, Front Desk Ambassador, was absolutely the best! ...did I mention the hotel is beautiful?!

I have returned to the Blackstone for a number of years. I love the style of this hotel and was a little apprehensive when I saw that it was under re-construction. I did not think it could be improved upon...that was before I met Tekita, the front desk ambassador! WOW...did she live up to her title. We had multiple requests...

My wife and I really enjoyed a long weekend stay at this property. We usually do this mini vacation at the same time of the year to match our spring breaks from work-and coincidentally-get to enjoy the St. Pat's celebration that Chicago puts on. Ethan at he front desk made us feel welcome at check in. He came around the...

After staying at two other hotels in Chicago, for us, this was the porridge that Goldilocks chose! As I have said in other reviews (please see reviews for Chicago South Loop Hotel and The Thompson), in a city with as many choices as Chicago, you have to think about what you want in a hotel. This hotel had everything I...

Visited in early March 2017. My room was one of the renovated ones and it was beautiful. Plenty of outlets, plenty of space, plenty of light. Bed (king) was comfy and had good pillows. I had a corner room and the view was amazing--could see Navy Pier and the lake out of one side and the Sears Tower out of...

The family and I planned a quick trip to Chicago so I looked for a good deal at a nice 4 star hotel. I booked a 2x Queen bed at the Renaissance Blackstone for a great deal. We got here and Ethan kindly informed me that he had to switch our room to a single king suit and we would...

What intelligence, indulgence and impeccable service of the staff at the Renaissance Blackstone who gave us the most incredible care. From the check-in, upon arriving with Ethan, to the constant care at the front desk with Helen, Diana, Sladjana, Irvin, Krystina, Taquita and Shanoughta...then there was Deejay, everywhere !, helping people incessantly with their bellman needs, led by Manuel :)...

This was our third time staying at the Blackstone and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. An older (historical) hotel, the Blackstone is currently going thru an extensive remodel but even without it, the rooms are classy, the walls are sound-proof and the a/c and heat actually work. The staff was super friendly when we checked in, made sure our...

Stayed at the Renaissance Blackstone when in town and visiting Navy Pier. Location worked out well for us but if I was wanting to explore more of the windy city I would recommend the Renaissance Chicago Downtown.

Hello, SimonCaines, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. There are so many amazing places to see and things to do in Chicago that its hard to pick the perfect location.
