This hotel seems to be discounted regularly. Expect they do not find it easy to fill all rooms... Especially when discounted go for it, you will not be disappointed. It is a very solid 4, if not 5 star hotel. Hotel and room immediately gave me a good, warm feeling. The typical marriott colours were familiar. Lobby, room, bathroom are...

We paid 125 a night on Priceline and were surprised how nice this hotel was. Our room overlooked Michigan Avenue and was good sized, nicely decorated and had a frig. Valet parking was expensive but we found a garage nearby for a lot less. They accommodates our four bikes for us in a room behind the front desk. Here is...

This is a true gem in the city. Very nice rooms and a very well maintained property. The location is perfect for anyone looking to get out and about and see the sites. We walked to Navy Pier twice, took the Red line to Wrigley (Block from the hotel) for a game and a lot of other things that were...

The Blackstone, the president's hotel, is the best attraction in Chicago. I ALWAYS brag about this hotel because of the succumbing service and decor. I love the staff, they always know me by name and they are prompt and helpful. There is no other hotel that has my heart such as this hotel!! Love it

The Blackstone is a great Marriott Hotel on S. Michigan Ave with a fantastic view of Lake Michigan, the Navy Pier, Soldier Field, Millenial Park, etc. I have stayed here three times and each time the staff has outdone themselves to make my stay fantastic. The rooms are large and very up to date and its in walking distance to...

We stayed at the Blackstone for Labor Day weekend and had a good experience. The room was smaller than I had hoped but the size of the bathroom made up for it. We interacted with the staff on a couple of occasions, once when the room key stopped working a day early and once when we needed to have something...

Overall a fine hotel, located just a few blocks south of all the Millenium Park action and convenient to many of the city's sights. We found a pretty good price for a one night stay in a King room, which was spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake. However, we were disappointed in the front desk service, which...

Very nice old hotel. It's very conveniently located to the bean (millennium park) couple blocks from the rail station: get the prepaid rfid card and and all public trans pass for about ten bucks. This hotel was at the perfect location for us for the weekend, but it is a bit pricey. I expect pricey hotels downtown. Overall though, it was a really good experience. The front desk employee that checked us in was really helpful and friendly, the room was really nice with a great view of the Willis (Sears) Tower.

Overall, this is a good, solid hotel. My room was big and the bed was comfortable. The amenities were typical of Marriotts (Renaissance) - rough towels, in-room coffee service that is very average.
