Right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Small is the best way to describe many aspects of this hotel including the rooms, elevators, and bathroom (really small). Judging from other reviews, one of the 3 small elevators is permanently out of commission, which leaves 2 small ones for 22 floors.; unacceptable. The property and rooms are very clean and...

Dear kibbabibba, Thank you for your review. Our hotel is categorized as a historic boutique hotel in downtown Chicago, so many of our guest rooms and amenities are smaller than what other traditional hotels have to offer. We understand that of the elevators was not functioning during your stay, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused you. If...

This hotel is in a great location. The parking is not great and was not told where there parking lot was located when we checked in. We thought the parking garage attached to the hotel was it so we payed a fortune $73.00 to park for 27 hours. Our room was on the corner of Michigan Ave. and Saint Clair....

I stay here once a year and it never dissappoints. Across the street is a 7 - 11 and some fast food options. Everyone is friendly, even to the grumpy travellers. The only downside it that the building is old so the basic design of the rooms and elevators is a bit small, but not problematic.

This hotel is, as everyone states, well located to Michigan Ave, but you get what you pay for. Yes, it is one of the cheapest hotels located a block east of Michigan Ave, but the lowest prices=outdated rooms. Seems as if there is renovation going on and there are two categories of rooms, contemporary and traditional. When we arrived, we...

Hotel is right along the Magnificent Mile where all you see all the good places to visit in Chicago, if you are a tourist. Room is a typical hotel room with two beds. It's kinda old, though. The hotel hallway of the rooms is also not that spacious. They have three elevators but it can only fit around 4-5 persons...

I've stayed at the Inn of Chicago twice - once booking through the Choice Hotels website, and once through the hotel itself. The location - one block from Michigan Avenue - can't be beat. We walked almost everywhere, but when we needed a cab, it was very easy to get one. Both times I stayed on a high floor in...

Very nice stay. Great staff. Just a bit pricey for no room service. Rooms are small but nice. I had a great view from the 18th floor. I will visit again soon. Hopefully there will be some type of special package deal.
