We were checking out a college in Chicago and would definitely go back to the Travelodge whenever visiting our daughter, should she decide to go to school there. The staff was considerate, respectful and eager to answer questions and help. We needed another towel, which was delivered immediately upon request. If you are expecting remodelled - crisp, contemporary rooms -...

Overall this place was nice. Although older, remodeling was done, I'm sure redecorating would be next. Major concern was the extra expense for parking. This added to our 2 nights another $78. Also would have appreciated some literature in the room regarding places to eat and maps.

As long as you go expecting a typical economy 2 or 3 star hotel you will be pleased. The lobby was very nice- it looked like it could belong to a much fancier hotel and the location was great -both 5 stars for that. The room itself was on the nicer side of economy hotels and was bigger than expected...

The location is great, the service is lovely. The rooms are depressing and very old, albeit quite clean. It was only one night. The windows are very thin as are the walls. You can hear everything happening outside the hotel. In the morning we went to the attached cafe for breakfast which was quite good and the menu had a...

I stayed at Travelodge during my first visit to Chicago. It was overall a good experience, as it was relatively clean and quiet. The only complaint I have is that the shelf below the bathroom mirror was not secured to the wall well, and our things kept falling in the sink or on the floor. There was no other storage...

The rooms need renovation. Peeling paint, old fashion steam radiant heaters that have leaked and caused carpet stains, the steel window frames have heavy thick unsightly paint; one popped blister in wall paint. Sagging Wiring some what of after thought could have used molding to cover it up. There is a simple diner attached to the property, but it is...

We stayed at the Travelodge for five nights. It was well located, 1/2 block from Michigan Avenue, hence quieter and less busy. We were across from Grant/Millenium Park and enjoyed walking there and experiences the festivals which were on going. The staff upgraded us without being asked and were very helpful with advice. The only complaints are that the room was...
