My wife and I were in town for 3 nights, seeing two concerts at Wrigley Field. Why choose the Drake? We wanted a quiet, comfortable place when we returned, a place we knew would have good beds and air conditioning and unobtrusive service. That's exactly...More

Thank you PeepOhioTraveler for your review of your stay at the Drake Chicago. We appreciate your feedback with regards to your room, our décor and the service you received. We look forward to welcome you back again in the very near future.
I stayed for three nights with high hopes but was let down excluding the history. The $70 a night for parking makes the overpriced room for what you get crazy. We had two beers, 12 wings and fries at the bar for the low price...More

Beautiful hotel with convenient location adjacent to Mag Mile. King room was well appointed, very large bathroom. The number of large spiders living on the window exterior was a bit creepy, but I guess that's big city living for you? Don't open the window!
Stayed here on the recommendation of a Chicago colleague and really enjoyed seeing this historic property. The lobby was impressive and pointed to its regal past. The bar downstairs was very impressive and fun. The hotel room was very big compared to other properties. While...More

Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
I have also seen this in Europe. It is a twin bed. Usually the two twins are pushed together and have a king sheet over it and a king comforter over that. The two twins usually share a king size head board.
