We loaded up for a family trip to Chicago to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I met them in town after flying home from business. They checked in okay and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our two bedroom suite was spacious in the living area and both bedrooms. The bathroom seemed to be an afterthought and made a...

This was my first time visiting Chicago and since the moment I walked into the hotel I was provided great customer service. The room was more spacious than expected, included a full kitchen. The location of the hotel couldn't get any better, everything was walking distance which helped us save money on transportation. The breakfast in the morning was a...

Stayed here when family came to chicago for my son's senior recital. The location is very good if you want to be close to mag mile shopping, Hancock tower. it's a little further away from millineum park. I was with my parents so it was too far to walk to millineum park but we were literally a block from Hancock...

There is always a feeling of seen one, seen them all. The breakfast is the same from day 1 to day 6, NOTHING changed. The kitchen staff were not as friendly as other RIs we have stayed in before but they were very professional as well as the hotel staff itself. First hotel i will stay ever during a birthday...

Thank you for providing a review of your recent stay with us. I do apologize for the inconveniences you experienced with your room placement, the breakfast and lack of birthday amenity. Unfortunately, we aren't the tallest building downtown so at times some of our views are obstructed. Also, yes Marriott works very hard at making sure their brands stay incredibly...

We are staying for a week waiting for closing. Very disappointed in room. Right next to elevator, no view, we are Platinum members and booked a month ago! Now told to wait and see if someone checks out today. Seriously???

Good afternoon LindaMNJ, I do apologize that we were unable to get you a room with a lake facing view. We try our best to allocate these rooms to our Elite members when they are not sold out, as we do sell these rooms as a premium room pool. I would be happy to assist to see if we have...

I picked this hotel because it was within walking distance of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital, plus I had a pet. The Residence Inn was very accommodating with my dog, and they even have a small enclosed dog run on the side of the hotel. There is a park nearby, Lakeshore Park, that is also a nice place to take your...

We have stayed at almost every Marriott property in downtown, but this was our first time staying at this location. The property itself is has a bit older feel. My guess is that this is a result of its prior use or occupancy. The room was very spacious and quite comfortable. The bathroom sink area was a bit small compared...

We have stayed in the two-separate-bdrm type suites at a few different Residence Inn's in California, but never in a downtown area of a major city like Chicago. The only part of the suite that was less appealing than I am used to was the bathroom. I knew it had one bathroom, but it was super small. The smallish sink...

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed in downtown Chicago. The staff was outstanding, the bar area is perfect as were the drinks. We booked two rooms on line and when we got there, they had automatically put us next to each other. We didn't even have to ask. The free breakfast was also very good....

We were upgraded to a huge 2-bedroom suite after we requested an extra bed for one night. It had a full kitchen, living room and a nice top floor view. Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
