I was so excited about staying here because I love the Kimpton brand. But my room at the Allegro was very disappointing. The hallways are dark and depressing. The room was small, but the bathroom is SO SO SO small with barely any space to even stand at the sink. It was very dark and did not feel clean, spacious...

What you get for the price is a steal of a deal. The decorations are very unique & classy so I loved it visually. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They keep the grounds very clean and up to date. The rooms, are small, but that didn't bother me as I wasn't there to spend time in my room....

The Allergro is an older hotel in the theater district of Chicago. It has been kept up to date. The lobby area is very nice, large with a gas fire place on one end. Every evening the have social hour with complementary wine. Very nice. The main complaint is how small the rooms are. The room was just big enough...

This is a friendly place and they do try to make things a little different. Deco is classic 30s but in great shape. Lobby and bar are nice and well frequented. They take care to keep this active. Rooms are small and certainly lack a comfortable chair or a small sofa. You are confined to the comfortable bed. Baths are...

Though I arrived way ahead of checkin time they were kind enough to let me have a room (it was a godsend after a redeye flight). Staff very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere of hotel. Nice touch with the happy hour in lobby every afternoon.

We stayed here in February for a long weekend. We really liked the location just in the middle of the theatre district but it was close to all the attractions. The room was small but we new this before we stayed and if we had stayed longer it would have become an issue but for the four days it was...

Hotel room cramped especially bathroom. Lighting too crude or too dark, lack of desk lamp. Requested a coffee machine in my room. Bar food is substandard, only cold plates. Cocktails are not imaginative, heavy and too sweet. 312 restaurant cooking is overrated, greasy experience. Nice 1st floor lobby. There are other more interesting hotels around, Kimpton Allegro is average and...

Have stayed a few times recently and this hotel does not disappoint. Comfortable rooms, great lobby, super location, cool vibe. What's not to like?! As in all other Kimpton hotel stays, the staff is unfailingly efficient and friendly.

Our stay at The Allegro was great! Newly re-decorated, stylish and up to date. Everything about this hotel is good, great location, style, value for money etc. Would definitely come back again! Very convenient with a Starbuck on ground floor!
