Everything was wonderful and met our high expectations. Great hosts whose tender loving care of details match the beautiful surroundings. This is perfectly located in the middle of the Shawnee Hills "Wine Trail". I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.

I am not going to write a book but you can see what I wrote about Shawnee Hill B&B in my previous review and this place is still amazing! This was our second visit this August 2016. I highly recommend you visit this bed and breakfast should you need a quick or long getaway!

We stayed for the weekend in July. Really great little place. Duplex style but still private.Overlooks woods not on the road so its a wonderful secluded spot. Perfect location for biking hiking and wineries. Great breakfast, great hosts, all you need for supplies etc.. Will be back !! Thanks so much.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful environment! Loved Tony as host. Rhea was having knee surgery but he still took time to make sure we had everything needed and stories to boot. We hiked the short 4 minute walk from our cabin to the cave where Daniel Boone wrote his name. Check out the barn that was built in the 1800s too. Lovely...

The cottage is situated at the top of a large hill where you are enveloped by the timbered quiet atmosphere so that the hectic world disappears. The owners are wonderful and very thoughtful. The rooms had all the amenities. Chocolates, red rose, variety of different scented lotions & bubble bath, spa robes were just a few. We have already purchased...

This B & B is our most favorite for this past 2015 summer vacation. Who would have thought it would have been fairly close to home! First, the location. It is situation in the rolling hills of Southern Illinois out in the country where you have nearby creeks and paths to walk through, even one to find Daniel Boone's cave...

Friends of the innkeepers recommended Shawnee Hill B&B to us and we were very glad we had mentioned we were going to Shawnee National Forest. It would have been a shame to have missed this cozy and friendly experience. Tony and Rhea obviously take great pride in their inn, as it was meticulous both inside and out and supplied down...

Tony and Rhea really took care of us well. I've stayed here a few times but this was the first time since my wife and I got married. We stayed in the log cabin and everything was perfect. It was a perfect romantic setting for our weekend getaway and we were able to really just relax and enjoy spending time...
