The front desk staff were excellent and professional. Whoever prepared our room did an excellent job! They even paid attention to little details like neatly folding the edge of tissue and toilet paper. Made us feel like we were in a 5 star hotel. The room was larger than most and having a pool, a bar and a foyer fireplace was really special and inviting. The breakfast was very good. Good location just about a mile away from downtown Galena. Restaurants & Piggly Wiggly across the street. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay! We will certainly be back!!!

This is the most quaint and cozy hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable.Clean and the most friendly staff! Trevor is the absolute best!!! I would highly recommend staying here!!! We cannot wait to return!!!

Had the best time and accommodations. More importantly, the General Manager, Trevor, was a delight from the onset. Very personable gentleman and made us feel welcome. Would HIGHLY recommend visiting and staying at Stoney Creek

Whether you are hitting the slopes, taking in the historical sights, or enjoying a weekend of food and shopping in Galena's wonderful downtown...Stoney Creek Galena is a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day. The room was clean, price was right, location was great, the hot breakfast was extensive and delicious, the additional amenities like the pool and bar are nice additions, they are couple and family friendly, and most of all the staff was pleasant and accommodating. I realized when I got home I forgot my jacket in the room. I called them right away, they found it and put it aside, then worked with me to set things up to get it shipped to me. Consider them for your next vacation getaway.

The hot breakfast was great. There was a very large family that was going to a funeral and the lady taking care of the dining room did a great job of keeping everything stocked, keeping the tables clean and making sure everyone was being taken care of. Kudos to the manager Trevor for training his employees to pay attention to detail and keeping the hotel in great shape.

A warm, comfortable hotel with a great lobby, pool and especially fireplaces. It is super pet friendly and has the feeling of a much more expensive “ hang out” hotel for just a bit higher price of the sleep, shower, shave motels along the highway.

I reserved this 2-night stay for my sister and her husband as an anniversary get-away. The manager, Trevor, made the process seamless. His professionalism was noteworthy but he went far above and beyond by going to the store, personally, to pick them up Welch's non-alcoholic juice so they could toast! They LOVED everything about their stay and will definitely be going back!

Could use updates. Breakfast is bland and repetitive. Double room is way too small for more than 3 people or pets. Unloading entrance needs to be wider. Cars block area and no room to pass around in an SUV.

Decided to take a last minute over night trip to Galena. Hadn't stayed at Stoney Creek in the past so booked a room. We were very pleasantly surprised. Quick and easy check-in, quaint and very clean rooms, tastefully decorated, and great pool area. Trevor was great! We will definitely be going back.

What a great place to stay @ Stoney Creek Inn From the Beautiful rustic clean hotel to the excellent service Trevor gave us ! Nice clean pool area with a great hot tub ! This is on our list to stay again with family & friends! Great hospitality and cute little bar with awesome old fashions!
