This is a really pretty state park. We stayed in the lodge. The lodge is a beautiful old lodge from the 30's. The main lodge has been pretty well preserved and also has cabins. I can only review the lodge since that was our experience. Plus is location and old school ambience. A cool indoor pool and a awesome great...

This is a beautiful rustic looking lodge with modern amenities. Being on the Mississippi River and so close to Grafton, this is a wonderful place to go for a weekend getaway. In the Winter you can snuggle by the fireplace or read a good book. In the summer, it's a great place to spend your nights while your days are...

This is a great lodge with many amenities. There are quiet rooms in the mail lodge as well as rustic cabin rooms. Great for a conference or just a romantic visit. there are private dining rooms and a wine bar (full bar also). It was build by the CCC (Civil Conservation Corp) during the 1930's. There are bike trails, hiking...

We were pleasantly surprised at this park. Our family of 5 stayed two nights in a cabin. It was clean, comfortable and quaint. The lodge itself, was delightful. It reminded us of the lodge at Yellowstone. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and the restaurant had excellent food. We hope to go back again.

We were at Pere Marquette for the Lutheran Older Adults Retreat April 19 & 20th - a full house, I believe. There was a mix-up at check-in with us (two women) being given a room with 1 King rather than the two doubles that we had been assured would be available. At our suggestion, staff provided a roll-away which was...

Cabin was awesome , clean , quiet and the wine tour was fun . The break fast at the lodge was great . And the staff was really great . Parking for the cabin that we stayed in was not close but is wasn't a big deal besides who doesn't need a good walk in nature .

The lodge and grounds are always a nice getaway. We really enjoy the hiking trails and scenic views. I will say we were a bit disappointed this time as the Lodge is in need of some updates. While you are not there to watch TV or get on the internet, it was a rainy weekend so even a day of...

This was our first time staying at the lodge. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The beds were the best hotel beds I have ever slept in. The pool and common areas are huge! We did have an issue with our keys twice, and although it was fixed, I felt like it was my fault,...

Agreeing with "Drummerdad77", I've been coming here with my family since I was little, and each time the lobby and grounds are always breathtaking. However, when we finally stayed the night, I was rather disappointed in the condition of the cozy cottages. I was also able to see both the new and old rooms as we booked the lodge to...

My husband and I spent a lovely spring weekend here. Located about an hour from St. Louis (the drive is beautiful along the river road) this is the perfect place to get away from the city without travelling far. The lodge is picturesque, the rooms are clean and comfortable (ask for a river view) and the restaurant is high quality...
