We stopped here because it's close to highway. Glad we did. Small place with delicious selections of homemade foods. BLT & Patty melt with fries n gravy were amazing. Crisp bacon, fresh tomatoes and peppers then sweet tea was perfect. Stop in for real down home foods. Sorry we weren't staying in town for their breakfasts and dinners. Go today!!

Traveling Route 66 through Illinois, we needed a good, affordable place to stay that also allowed more than one dog, with no breed or weight restrictions. Sounds like an impossible task, but not so, when you stay at the Country Inn Motel in Livingston. We arrived late, so the attached cafe was a welcome sight to our travel weary eyes!...

Great price, friendly staff. One night's stay also includes a free breakfast for one in the café the next morning and the breakfast is more than just coffee and donuts you get to choose from. Your choice of four or five different breakfast meals.

Nice small town motel, clean, comfortable beds, reasonably priced with a cafe attached. The cafe is a hidden gem with great coffee with a variety of tasty treats available staffed by friendly people. We talked about making a road trip just for the biscuits and gravy.

This is a nice and very clean, family owned Motel. Rooms were exceptionally clean. The cafe was great and all the people were nice and homey. Would definately stay again! The price was great and just what we needed for a late night stop.

The Country Inn staff were very friendly, the beds were comfortable, it was quiet, average, as far cleanliness and extremely affordable! But we did have a little trouble with the air conditioner... The food was excellent, great coffee and the staff were awesome! The honestly of the cleaning staff was exceptional!

This was the second time I stayed here--found this place in 2004, and it still is awesome. The price is great. Our room was clean--very clean. The decor is old and puts me in mind of Mad Men or something of the sort. I like it--some folks might not. We enjoyed our short stay. The cafe was nice--they still have...

My husband and son stayed here on their way back to WI from a Cardinals/Brewers Game. I wish there were more hotels like this across the country..and will actually start looking for more! Budge minded, no frills, but clean and comfortable! My husband said breakfast was great. Employees were friendly :)

I have stayed at this motel several times. I always stay there when visiting relatives nearby. It is clean and cheap. The staff is friendly and helpful. You get a free breakfast with the stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Not fancy, but great value!
