We love to stop for White Pines Inn Sunday Brunch when we're camping in the State Park. Lots of choices and food is always good. Service is fantastic. Be sure to hit the gift shop on your way out. Great place to visit in the autumn.

If you love the outdoors, but still want the creature comforts of indoor living, then this place is for you. Surprisingly good food at the restaurant. Might even be able to throw in a live show (we saw an adorable play). Very doable (at all levels, even wheelchairs) walks in the woods just outside your door, then go inside your...

We stayed in one of the quad cabins. Very comfortable cabin. It was a chilly day and the gas fireplace kept the room warm. The shower needed a little help. The water pressure was low and the shower itself small but it was hot. The area was quiet and we found a few walking paths to explore. The restaurant is...

Went to White Pines for some time to relax. That is certainly what we did. Signed up for a dinner package, and it was a great decision. It included the play, a buffet before the play, a light lunch and a breakfast. The play (Squabbles)was hilarious. The buffet was great, the light lunch was wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious....

This was the second stay for myself and my boyfriend. Bed is comfortable enough considering it's a little on the firm side. Sure the cabin could use a better cleaning, and sure they have outdated TVs. But here's the thing: you're outside of Mt Morris Illinois. It's not like this is the suburbs. The cabins are decades old, and you...

80-year old cabins with massive fireplaces, tvs, dvds, and refrigerators. Well marked and maintained trails ranging from wheel-chair accessible to difficult where I feel safe walking alone anytime. The nearby White Pines Inn Restaurant has a variety of good dishes in large servings that you can take back to the cabin for bedtime snack. Restaurant and gift shop staff are...

I visited about 50 years ago with family and hadn't been back since, until this year. My mom and step-dad spent their honeymoon in cabin #4 in 1966. Every year since then they have spent their anniversary in cabin #4! This year, however, my step-dad was revering from a heart attack and stroke and they were unable to get to...

Friendly rstaurant with attentive staff. Was not particularly impressed with the buffet they were offering the day we were there but the Chicken Pot Pie was acceptable buit not totally to my liking since i like a pot pie with more gravy than this one had plus it had a puff pastry crust when I would rather have seen a...

We stayed in the Canyon View Cabin ~ it is actually outside the park next to the Wedding venue. There was a wedding on Saturday night~we were concerned about the noise. We did not hear a thing! The cabin is AWESOME! King size bed~ extra large Jacuzzi ~ fireplace! Wonderful for a romantic anniversary get away! Very clean and welcoming....

The cabin was quaint, clean and comfortable. The bed was super in appearance and use. We ate at the restaurant, my wife's dinner was walleye which was very good. I chose the Friday night daily catch that was certainly not a good catch. The fish was barely detectable amidst the grease and overdone presentation. We chose to overlook it as...
