When staying at Paindane Beach Resort, Pleasure Bay is such a convenient place to swim after a day at the beach or to enjoy happy hour with friends. The service is good and the food is good quality. The only negative is that the food and drinks are really overpriced compared to the other resorts in the area and even...

We stayed here for about a week in a single unit. The views from the room is excellent and looks out over the ocean and the palm trees. The managers are friendly and extremely helpful. We spent our days snorkelling in the reef, doing daytrips to Inhambane, Tofo, Tofinho(good surfing spot Monument) and braaing. The pool area is very nice...

We camped at Paindane Beach resort and went here to rent snorkel equipement. The weather was not with us, but the material was really good. We also tried diving for the 1st time in the pool for free, thanks to the owner. There is a wonderful view from the pool as well.

We stayed near Piandane for family holiday. We went to Pleasure Bay's restaurant for Christmas lunch - great value for money. The service was much better than other restaurants in area. Please note they only accept cash - SA Rand, Mozambique Metical or US Dollar (ask Owner/Manager). The pool is nice venue and visitors appreciate that manager made it his...

A group of 7 of us had the pleasure of staying at Pleasure Bay this November, 2014. We spent 5 nights in paradise swimming in the sea; snorkelling on the amazing reef right off the beach and taking boats out to spot dolphins. The experience was incredible. This is definitely the place for you to unwind, enjoy amazing views and...

We stayed at pleasure bay resort during December 2013 and were more than happy with the accommodation and service we received for the price that was paid. As we were two couples traveling together we opted for two, two sleeper units instead of a four sleeper unit. Although the two sleeper unit is small, it still has everything you need...

The owners and managers of the resort went out of there way to assist us in every way possible, trips to the beach, supplies from town, trips to doctors, packing and unpacking vehicles etc. The snorkeling is unbeatable and will keep you going back year after year. All the staff were friendly and the food good

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pleasure Bay is situated approximately 485km north of Maputo in Mozambique. Our charming chalets are all built on the highest dunes and all have beautiful sea views overlooking the bay “Baia Das Correntes,” which is protected by the “Lighthouse” Reef - one of the finest and most spectacular Coral Reefs in Mozambique. Location: Situated approximately 485 kilometers North of Maputo on a very good tarred road. Presently a section of (+-) 70 kilos still to be upgraded. The Resort is reached via a gravel road of 24 kilos, from the main road to Inhambane. The last 4 kilos to the Resort is a sand track which requires a 4x4 vehicle. We can also accommodate 4x2 vehicles which will be securely stored at the end of the sand road. We will then arrange travel to and from the beach on a daily basis. You will need a 4x4 to go down to the beach. Vehicles are allowed to launch boats, canoes and kayaks from the beach into a beautifully protected Bay. You may also take your party and picnic goodies to the beach where you must park your vehicle. Driving on the beaches is not permitted. Quad bikes and motor cycles are not allowed on beaches in Mozambique ... more   less
