Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting our family in Mozambique. Difficult to add anything to what's already been said. We stayed in a tent and were a little apprehensive prior to coming here as we are not enthusiastic campers by any means. However we need not have worried. We had a comfortable bed, beautiful view and the food and...

We stayed a long weekend at Dunes de Dovela and had a wonderful relaxing time! The location is amazing, food delicious and the tents really romantic! We especially enjoyed the walk in the dunes at the sunset - can´t relax more! Absolutely recommendable!

This place was amazing. The attention to detail was evinced by the careful design of the accommodations. The proprietors are extremely well-informed, intelligent, warm, and generous. The surroundings were gorgeous, as was the integration of the lodge with the dunes. Finally, though I wasn't looking forward to it, they catered to our vegetarian diet with gusto, providing us with delicious,...

Dunes de Dovela is a stunning eco-lodge which conserves about 80 hectares of native forest. Thomas and Alex who runs the lodge are passionate about the environment and the local culture. They have done an outstanding work training people from the local village and involving them in conservation projects. The lodge offers several activities as bird watching, bush walk, village...

It's incredibly difficult to do any justice to this place through words alone. Dunes de Dovela is a magnificent eco lodge tucked away in inhumane province in Mozambique. This beautifully built eco lodge offers tents and luxury chalet accommodation with stunning views over deserted dunes, beach and a wonderful ecosystem. The french hosts are warm and welcoming anticipating in advance...

I stayed in a luxury tent at this beautiful eco-lodge set by dramatic sand dunes (the dune sunset walk is highly recommended - absolutely stunning and the chance to slide down a sand dune) and overlooking the beautiful coast with white sand and snorkelling just off the beach. The food was incredibly delicious three course meals of gourmet French-Mozambican food...

Still thinking of the lovely meals we had during our stay. Fresh fish , straight from the sea. it was a small paradise , with lovely hosts, wonderful sounds from the sea, the wind and the animals. definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who is in the neigbourhood, needs a break and loves good food.
