I very homely and welcoming location to stay. At the base of the Roaches so no need to take the car to start your walking day. Although isolated, it is close to nearby villages and has the true feeling of being out in the country. The accommodation is very cosy and laid back, with very little restrictions, for use of...

On arrival we were let in to the gates which have a security aspect in which they will not open if you are too close which opened fine. Once through the gates the cottage was ready for our arrival and we went in to find the notorious free milk and flapjack (which is my all time favourite). We immediately toured...

Arrived and the toiled seat was filthy with no 2 stains on it. The host was not very welcoming. The hot tub was over chlorinated and burned my skin. We were not told my little one could us the hot tub before hand. The kettle was fithy and full of mould. Disgusting. Its a shame its such a beautiful place....

Thank you for your feedback.. When the guests arrived a hour earlier than arranged I kindly informed them that the annex was not quite ready for them as we have to allow sufficient time for cleaning and checking the hot tub is ready and dipped and treated with the required chemicals. They went away and came back later . I...

A good, clean room, beautiful surroundings. The roaches (the hills that is, for those with automatic machine translations) can be seen from the window. Excellent breakfast, friendly and sympathetic owners. One of best B&B’s I ever stayed in.

We called in on spec to this B&B as we hadn't booked anywhere, and we were lucky that Lorna had just had a cancellation. The cottage is down a very long, and extremely bumpy unmade track, but is worth the effort as it is a beautiful place to stay, and excellent value, too. The room was perfect. A double aspect...

Loved the location of Hen Cloud Cottage very secluded. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was lovely....what more could you want. Walked into the village for dinner and had a nice meal. If you want a tranquil setting this is the place for you.

Thank you Lorna for a lovely stay! This was exactly what we were looking for. Walks are right on the doorstep and there is a pub walking distance from the accommodation. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and with great views. The area is beautiful and we felt very welcome. Lorna was really helpful with walks as we are...

My partner and I stayed with Lorna and Nick for the May bank holiday weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the private double room in the main house. The location of Hen Cloud is beautiful, expansive views and under the climbing crags of The Roaches, with walks starting on the front door step. The best thing about the hospitability...

We had a lovely stay at Hen Cloud's self catering cottage. A very peaceful and beautiful location, just down the road from The Roaches. Yes, it was down a bumpy track, but we didn't meet a single car on it. The cottage was great for us to come and go as we needed. Lorna was very friendly and the cakes...
