I never thought my travels would bring me to Peoria, IL, but I have to say the Mark Twain Hotel was a cute hotel reminiscent of big city boutique hotels I've stayed at. The staff were tremendously friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms themselves were very spacious, equipped with free Wifi and various computer hookups, a large desk, fridge, microwave,...

Stayed at the Mark Twain hotel while in town for business. Pros: Location from my meeting. Easy to get to the hotel. Good restaurant. Good staff working desk and bar/restaurant!! Cons: Bed sucked! Very hard mattress with a foam topper. PILLOWS SUCKED. Having traveled many times in the last 20+ years these pillows ranked up there with some of the...

Stayed just one night for business. (First time in Peoria.) Nice downtown area and the hotel has been renovated. Still has that old world feel. Nice TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. BIG shower, very nice. They gave 2 free drink tickets, I went to the bar which is part of their restaurant (Two25) - the bartender was engaging and pleasant....

We stayed at the Mark Twain for a concert that was held at the Civic Center. The hotel was in a great location right near the river. Great views of that. We would love to visit again when it's warmer so we can check out the river walk. Our room was updated and wonderful. Had a great stay.

I booked a room because the specified hotels for my conference were booked. The weekend service reps are very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is fine for complimentary breakfast, but a bit expensive for dinner. My room was very comfortable - just wish there was a bigger cable Tv selection.

I almost feel redundant writing another good review for the Mark Twain as there are so many here already, but what an attractive boutique hotel with its welcoming "library" lobby, cute brick and wood bar and dining room - complete with two free drink tickets per person when you check in and delicious dinner food. Then a great breakfast buffet...

A clean but very tiny room. Made me rethink the idea of downsizing in the future. Hopefully you are not very tall, the showerhead in our room was very low. Location was perfect for a wedding reception at The Packard next door. A definite plus are the drink coupons and free breakfast.
