My wife and I don’t get away often so when we do we love to go to special places. The inn is impeccable. The bed was comfy. The breakfasts and dinner were extraordinary. Definitely a place for foodies. Make sure you have dinner at the inn. The cuisine you would expect to enjoy if you were a judge on Food... More

From the time you ring the door bell the personal attention you get from both owners Jeff and Monika it is amazing. Jeff gave us a quick tour of the house and make us feel like home. At 6:30pm dinner was served. The dinner prepared by Monika was out of this world with a Morocco touch. Potato leek soup, mixed... More

We've never stayed in a B&B before. We had reason to be in the area, so searched the web and found excellent ratings for the Chestnut Street Inn. They were indeed spot on. We stayed in the green room. We popped some popcorn, kicked back and enjoyed watching TV in the sitting/reading room. We chose to have dinner and were... More

This was our second time at Chestnut Street Inn. Several years had passed and we were anxious to see how the Inn was evolving. Wow. This time we ate dinner - Italian cooking was the set menu and it was wonderful. The choices of wine were balanced. Jeff acted as host and made sure we were served in a timely... More

We stayed in our favorite, charming "Green Room". This area has 2 small bedrooms, a bath and sitting porch (including a breakfast table and chairs, a mini-fridge, as well as 2 cozy chairs on which to sit while reading, watching a television show, or enjoying DVDS and/or VHS tapes from the Sudakov's vast collection). The doorway between "The Green Room"... More

We again enjoyed a one-night stay here, and we just as satisfied this time around. Monika and Jeff are wonderful hosts and strive to make the stay comfortable in every way. Both the dinner and breakfast were outstanding-- fresh and very carefully prepared! The rooms are beautifully appointed and immaculate. What a treat!

My husband and I have been to dinner at the Chestnut Inn numerous times and have always been delighted by Chef Monika's creative cuisine. You do not have to be an overnight guest at the B &B to dine there. We subscribe to their monthly menu which features a wide range of exquisitely prepared and presented food, you can then... More

I have gluten and dairy sensitivities, so it's hard to find places to eat. Not only did Monika adapt the food for me, but the dinners and breakfasts were delicious. This was a wonderful getaway for my husband and I. We will definitely return.

We stayed there TOO long ago and I forgot to leave my review, thanks to life, nursing school, work, and our toddler :( But it's never too late, right?! This is what we experienced: Locally grown and raised food prepared right down in the kitchen - DELISH - the best part was that it was completely catered to our dietary... More
