The food is great and good value, classic pub food with daily specials. The Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, enquires are positively luxurious. I have stayed many times on business. Can't fault it. Its my go to hotel when in the area.

We stayed here the night before and after a wedding. On arrival the outside looked a bit shabby, as did the public rooms but I believe they were being renovated. Also a shame that there is such a big structure to the right of the hotel. But on walking in we were given a friendly greeting and shown to our...

The staff were very friendly, especially the lady who served the breakfast on Sunday. Cooked breakfast was really nice and the coffee was quality. We stayed in the suite...

I visited with family for some afternoon drinks. We had heard that there was a horrendously snooty proprietor but unfortunately he was either misunderstood or not working as the barman was very pleasant and the booze was good, particularly the Belgian lager. The venue was comfortable and well maintained. I left in high spirits.

We visited this hotel for Sunday lunch .First impressions are that the building site attached to the hotel - should be removed or completed - an utter carbuncle! The grounds once verdant and plentiful are bare and sparse. Entering the building the feeling is of tired 1970,s . The lunch however was school dinners at their finest- ok veg and...

Stayed for one night in one of the suites which was furnished to a very high standard and was very comfortable. The breakfast next morning was excellent and all the staff could not be more helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Very reasonable, three courses for two and two drinks each £40. Was quiet when we went in to the bar ( wernt offered a dining room so not sure if that's...
