We arrived about 5:30PM and were promptly met by Janie Reynolds, the owner, and shown to our cottage which is separate from the house in which they have at least two rooms for guests. The cottage has two bed rooms, a kitchen with a dining area and a bath with shower/tub. The cottage would not be appropriate for someone with...

My partner and I had only one night in Launceston as we were driving around Tasmania and was not disappointed in our choice of accommodation. Janie was a wonderful host , Trevallyn House was clean, comfortable and had sensation views of the Tamar River. Although it was further away from the city ( everything is no more than 10 mins...

What a lovely home to be allowed to share with your hosts -Trevallyn House is set in lovely gardens in a very quiet location, yet it is in the heart of the suburbs, and convenient to the CBD. It is also close to local shopping and other facilities. The rooms, towels etc are of the highest quality, and the bed...

Janie and Brett deliver a fine B&B experience. Rooms are comfortable and cosy, the view splendid and the hosts friendly and entertaining. The cooked breakfast was Michelin star quality. Well worth a stay, you won't be disappointed.

Janie and Brett were lovely. Staying at their lovely B&B is on par with a stay at any 5 stars hotel. They were so welcoming and kind. Brett is an excellent cook - his breakfast and dinner are among the best meals I had at Australia.

To repeat what every other reviewer has said, this B&B is the loveliest place - excellent location, views, service, cleanliness, breakfast... The hosts Janie and Brett are kind and welcoming and I would stay here again and again in a heartbeat. Thank you - from Mary, Eugene and kids.

We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. It was tremendously comfortable and homely. Views were spectacular, and service was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and they catered well for a member of our group who has food allergies. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this area!
