obtained a room and found out the motel houses sex registry offenders. at least 6 live there paid for by the tippicanoe county indiana and clinton county. this is sick. i checked after having 3 of them make grunting sounds when they seen my little daughter and son who are barely 6 years of age. needless to say we left, and went into lafayette to get another room somewhere else.

DISGUSTING - IRRESPONSIBLE - UNACCEPTABLE. We had a confirmed reservation with a credit card but when we got there at 12:30 AM and we were told the motel was full. I showed the front desk person my confirmation for 2 nights that I printed from my computer. He told me it could not be right because; 1- they do not have a computer and 2- they only rent for the week. I was then told they did have two rooms and he wanted to show them to us. The night manager used his key to open the first room and walked right in which woke up the sleeping guest! Second and third rooms had dirty walls and mold in the showers. We went to the parking lot and called other hotels for about 30 minutes but could not find anything. The manager came out to tell us he had another room. After he showed it to us, I asked if he could leave me a brush and cleaning supplies so I could scrub it myself, but he did spend 15 minutes cleaning the bathtub. The sheets and pillows had dark stains and were so disgusting that we slept in our clothes with a hood over our heads. I asked for toilet paper and he brought me 2 small rolls without enough for even one use combined. We asked for towels and the things he brought us were disgustingly worn and had holes in them. The 3 hangers locked into the closet were sticky and over a table which had a microwave on it so the "closet" was useless. The bathtub did not drain and the rust stains were disgusting. They required that we pay upfront for both nights but we slept the second night somewhere else. The phone number on their webpage and listing does not work. When I got there, I asked him about the telephone and he told me that I was not calling the motel but the owner's cell phone in another city; "Why would I expect the owner to answer his cell phone for me?" were his exact words.…

Thought it was a great place. Me and my number one girl Roxy had a great night. It was exactly what we were looking for...shower was alittle dirty but it was cleaner then going behind a dumpster at Wendys.

For starters it isn't the Ritz but considering cost it isn't that bad. I am new to the area and recently accepted a position with a local employer. So for the 2 week period of searching for more permanent accommodations we did stay at the Lincoln and found it to be ok with other folks staying here being considerate noise wise never feeling the need to complain. Again considering cost it's ok.

This place is NASTY! 1. We came into our room where we were promised a microwave and there was not one. You only get a microwave if u stay a week, which I'm not sure how anyone could. 2. We try to talk to the owner about the issues and he was very very rude and didn't want to fix any of the problems. 3. We go into the shower and there is hair all over the walls of the shower like it had not been clean for years. I mean just clumps of hair all over!!!! 4. The sheets on the bed were not clean, there was hair from the ppl prior to us and there was sticky something all over the pillows. 5. Then we get woke up at 6am by the housekeeper just walking in our room and turning the lights on and cleaning. 6. In the lobby there were drug dealers sitting on the couches as you walk in! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MOTEL. DRIVE THE EXTRA 10 MINS AND PAY THE EXTRA 10$. …

This was the most unpleasant motel stay I have ever had. I was forced to stay here by the weather and wish I would have risked my life and kept driving. The lobby was freezing-you could actually see your breath. the room wasn't much better-could not get it above 60 degrees. Room looked like it had NEVER been swept and was filthy. No blanket on bed meant I had to try and sleep fully dressed-not much luck. Shower stall was absolutely disgusting. The entire room smely musty and moldy and the bed clothes even stank. No wash cloths, absolutely no hot water, and two towels-neither of which looked or smelled clean. Someone needs to call the health department on this dump. It truly was the filthiest most decrepit place I have ever stayed. Period.

My family and I are staying at the Lincoln Lodge Motel while we are in between homes. This motel is really nice and the staff is so friendly. The rooms are neat and clean and the prices are cheap! Whether you are staying one night or the whole week, these prices are the lowest in town! And I love the fact that this motel is in a country setting, but close to everything. During the storms and tornadoes we had in November of 2013, the power had went out and the owners here gave each guest a candle so that we would have some light in our rooms. They also made us feel at home with their nice rooms and spacious bathrooms. The overall atmosphere of this motel is just wonderful. They also have coin operated washer and dryers, along with wi-fi and cable television. And your pets are welcomed! Overall, I give this motel an excellent 5 star rating!…

We were driving north in Dec 2012 trying to get to Michigan, and an icestorm hit. Cars were sliding off I-65, and traffic was inching along. It took us hours to move less than a mile. We knew that with 4 kids in the car we couldn't keep going all night, so we were overjoyed to see the lodging signs at the next exit. The sign on the door said "no refunds". That should've been my first clue, but I was too excited to be out of the car to care. Then I noticed that the lobby was ice-cold and that everybody there was wearing coats. A waited in line and noticed that the checkin desk was surrounded with bulletproof glass. A German girl holding a candy bar was yelling at the guilty looking hotel clerk. They obviously spoke different languages but understood eachother all too well. I decided to pay with cash. The door to our room was about as solid as a hollow closet door. Worn furniture, stained towels, and tiny beds. But it was very clean - not a speck of dust anywhere. And the heat worked, and the shower had lots of hot water. For those 3 reasons it gets an extra star. I was thankful to be in this hotel watching Dora the Explorer on a grainy tv instead of continuing on the icy roads. If you have a total emergency and need shelter in order to stay alive, then stay here. Otherwise avoid.…

We are in-between home and moved from an cheesy Econolodge to the Lincoln Lodge Motel because our dogs are welcome. We are here for a month and are very happy with the room, staff and amenities. The cost is 1/2 what we were paying at the low end chain motel. Excellent value but don't expect much - you do get what you pay for. This is not Embasy Suites. The place has all the charm of the 50's state road motel that it is. It is sufficiently clean, has a coin laundry, rec room, cozy lobby and wi-fi.
