What an amazing and lovely place tucked back in the woods (and cornfields). The accommodations are absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. The refrigerator and cupboards were stocked, the living room with gas fireplace so cozy and the Sleep# bed...WOW!!! Absolutely perfect for a weekend (or longer) getaway. Chuck & Rhonda -- A++++

Cabins and Candlelight was an absolutely idyllic place to spend our anniversary weekend. Each of the two cabins is tucked back into its own secluded grove within an open meadow area, and the cabins (we stayed in the one with the green roof) have everything you could ask for to make a perfect getaway. From the jacuzzi tub, to the... More

We just returned from our 5th visit to this pair of log cabins to celebrate our anniversary. It is amazing how nothing has changed over the years, the maintenance of the property is fantastic. The customer service we receive in booking is also fantastic. The cabins are romantic and perfectly sized for a couples get away. Having a full kitchen... More

My husband and I just got back from an overnight stay here. We were only able to stay one night, but I would have loved to stay longer. This is the most relaxing trip I've ever been on. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We arrived to find the table set for a romantic dinner and romantic music... More

The cabin was wonderful, and a respite from anything fast or related to technology. It was thoughtfully filled with breakfast items, and the owners were ready to answer questions if you had any. While it was a 15 minute drive to any nearby city or town, that added to the charm. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend with someone special.

What a gorgeous place for an incredible escape. Everything from the first step in until you leave is memorable. Breakfast foods are in the fridge, the shower is easily large enough for two, there is a grill available for cooking dinner, the hot tub is quite relaxing, etc. There is a beautiful fireplace available, too, but I was there in... This is a clean, luxurious and quiet cabin. I wouldn't say it was anything extraordinary, but I would go back again. There is another cabin on the same road but you are secluded enough to feel private. Very open layout, beautiful stone fireplace and an air adjustable bed. Screened in back porch with several styles of lounge chairs. The bed... More

My wife and I returned a year later to celebrate our 34th. We had a fairy tale visit a year earlier with wild turkeys, deer and eagles. This year the fairy tale continues with deer, rabbits and more eagles. We counted 10 eagles that flew in front of the cabin along Sugar Creek. Five at one time. There is something... More

My wife and I spent the weekend here for our 40th anniversary. The peace and quiet was amazing as were the accomodations. The food was delicious and I could hardly get my wife out of the big jacuzzi tub! We sat in fron of the fireplace and watched movies, read, and napped for hours on end. We are so glad... More

“Both cabins are great !”

“Plan on 2-3 nights as a minimum. You will hate yourself if you rush out of here. The perfect quiet and privacy in a romantic setting is meant to be enjoyed and not hurried. They supply plenty of food to make multiple breakfasts but with a full size kitchen bring some groceries and just stay in. We grilled steaks, baked sweet potatoes, etc and had a romantic dinner right there in the cabin.”

“There are two cabins available, and they are separated by at least 100 yards. They are exactly the same, so either one will work for you.”
