My wife and I loved it. The location was convenient for our day travels and very peaceful. Everything at the Guest House was excellent; the room, the breakfasts and especially Claudia! Claudia was so enjoyable and interesting. Can't recommend it enough. We will be back.

Thank you, Chip. The business of a bed and breakfast is a very personal one. Innkeepers share their home, meals, conversation, and interests with people they've just met. When guests share their lives as well, it is a special experience. Chip and Sandy from Wisconsin brought cheese to share, their family stories, and appreciation for the relaxation we strive to...

We needed a stop over on our way to Ohio and we wanted something more cozy, warm and welcoming that your typical hotel establishments. Living in the country, we wanted to find a place that would "keep us in the country" a little longer. The Tryon Farm Guest Home B&B first became our choice due to the rave reviews. And...

A list of activities to do there at the house if you have extra time, about 10 minutes from downtown Michigan City, clean room, good breakfast, friendly host. The basic bed & breakfast experience we were looking for. There ARE indoor showers, but the outside one is a first!

I have stayed at 6 or 7 B and B's and this one is among my favorites. Head and shoulders above the rest. Claudia knows what she is doing and she does it well! The breakfast, the accommodations, the surroundings, tire swing, walking trails, hammock, outside shower and more, we will be back! Thank you Claudia for your hospitality and...

Claudia is The Innkeeper here, and is truly a wonderful human being. She truly enjoys running a bed-and-breakfast and it shows. We stayed in the Prairie View room, and had a great time touring the grounds, and enjoying the beaches of Michigan City. We will definitely be back.

I was in the middle of a 5000 mile road trip...sick of hotels & noisy hotel neighbors...stressed from my trip and in need of some peace, I discovered Claudia's lovely Tryon Farm Guest House! I enjoyed walking around the grounds, visiting the chickens and soaking in the clawfoot tub was a real treat for my road worn body. House/ room...

What a great place to unwind, cogitate and enjoy the days of farmhouses, super fresh egg breakfasts and your favorite great aunt. "Aunt Claudia" is a terrific hostess whose attention to your physical and mental comforts is superb. Don't expect a huge room with modern bathroom and copious space for hanging clothes: Farmhouses just were not designed that way -...

Our favorite thing by far was being able to wander around the community grounds. Very cool setup they have! A close second would be the outdoor shower, the comfortable bed as well as Claudia's delicious breakfast. We greatly enjoyed our trip and the excellent facilities/service.

If you like antiques, yummy breakfasts, and cozy bedrooms that look like your grandmother's, you will love Tryon Farm Guest House. We spent 4 nights there, with two grandkids, two dogs, and our kids, making it a special experience. We hiked, fed the chickens, collected eggs, and swung on the tire swing. The dogs and kids loved being able to...

Claudia was a great host and the farmhouse was a treasure in and of itself. We were welcomed with a tour of the place and an introduction to activites in the area. Claudia even had some brochures and restaurant menus available. We stayed in the room with the soaking tub, which was relaxing and made one feel like they were...
