Whilst there isn't vehicle access to the front of the hotel, it is only a short walk from the car park. The rooms are well equipped, modern and comfortable with robust free WiFi, if slightly cramped for 2 guests. Double beds are 2 singles pushed together which is a shame. Recommended

Almost entire hotel team here is helpful, attentive and welcoming. I would especially like to thank Andjela in the hotel and Marko at the beach, they really took good care of us. The hotel staff even brought my daughter a small birthday cake to our breakfast on her 7th b-day and really surprised us so much! The cleanliness of Hotel is impeccable!! Food/drinks were delicious. The room was spotless, though I thought that our junior suite was too small for 2 adults and two kids – once the sofa bed was set up, we couldn’t really approach the window in the living room area or even open the refrigerator. I would definitely recommend reserving a bigger suite for a family of 4, and especially for 4 adults. The beach was very nice and clean. We had chairs, umbrella and beach towels included with our stay. I strongly recommended this hotel if you ever travel to Tivat.

During my week stay at this hotel I got an impression that despite this place pretends to be considered as 4 stars hotel, they have no much idea about how it is as of international Nivea. The most and worst for me was experience in terms of service (especially one person at reception who made me very annoyed after some days of her constant restrictions). After visiting to so many hotels worldwide, I've never heard that – "we don't give any plate, or spoon or any other little stuff to the room. You can only get it, if you order meal from hotel! Besides, when I asked to provide me with water boiler and cup, she (woman at reception whose names I won't name here but very happy to provide to management) told me that I even have to order tea from hotel! I never saw such a stupidity and frech attitude, to squeeze money from the guests. Same woman also confused me with infos regarding my needs for breakfast – I asked several times to have at least lactose free yogurt and goat cheese, due to cow lactose intolerance. First she told me, that I can have my own, so I bought it for first time breakfast. After breakfast she told that I'm not allowed to bring anything of my own to breakfast table since I have to have a bill (for what???). But the way she spoke sounded like I'm her employee. Later on, when I asked to give me two beach towels, same woman at reception told me that it's not allowed and they give only one towel per person while her colleges told me different infos.

In general, when I just arrived same woman didn't even provide me with correct infos about hotel, like internet for example. She said you have to turn on TV to get instruction but in reality it was a paper on the sideboard. Totally confusing and messy.
I think if this hotel pretends to be 4 starts with such a price range even in non season time, they have to meet requirements. Or management have to travel around the world and visit any conferences to get an idea what's that about. I won't mention some damages in the room when pipes at lavabo was broken and since few days I had a water on the floor but I couldn't get any extra towel or napkins.
I don't want to feel myself as in "prison" with all kind of ridiculous restrictions for my money.
As for restaurant staff, they are ok and friendly but need to learn better English at least to avoid any misunderstanding with the clients.
The location is good, this is out of discussion. And if you like to visit spa room, it's also ok but you have to ask/remind 3-4 times to assist you with any needs in spa.

I stayed here for a long weekend at the end of September and I have mixed feelings. Porto montenegro is lovely and I am glad I picked it over staying in kotor. The view from our room was beautiful, location is great for sightseeing, breakfast variety was good but that's about it. The receptionist and housekeeping do have a smile on their faces but the rest of the staff need to work on customer service skills. I honestly think most of the staff must hate their jobs for being that miserable.

It's advertised as a 4 star hotel but you have to ask for a kettle and iron and they don't provide tea bags, coffee or milk so it's almost pointless asking for a kettle. Iron is clearly shared between rooms so it dissappears after a couple of days. Lifts are very small and shower gel isn't replenished when finished.

If you choose to stay here because of the location and know what to expect, it can be a good holiday. Bring your own tea bags/coffee, buy your milk, iron all your clothes as soon as you get the iron, don't forget your own toiletries and don't bother eating at the hotel restaurant (plenty of better options around the corner like art of masala).

Hotel Palma is a very nice hotel with a quite convenient location by its own beach and by the main road of Montenegro Port which is a great boutigue port with nice coffees, restaurants and shops.
My son and I stayed at a room with a balcony and it was really special to wake up with a beautiful sea view or to sit down and enjoy a drink with the sun set. My son is 10 years old and staying at this hotel was quite convenient in terms of its own beach with only a few minutes walk from our room.

During the Pandemic times, we faced some extreme circumstances while we stayed in Montenegro and I would like to thank to the hotel manager, Marko Kovacevic, personally for his support and solution based approach. He was a hands on helpful manager which is really good for the hotel and the customers.
The front desk personnel Vukica Andrijana also stood out among her collegues with her interest in the customer matters and her empathy like approach; these things are important and makes you feel special.
I would definitely like to come back again and stay at hotel Palma with family and friends in the coming seasons.

Thank you,
Deniz Koksal

We have just returned from this fantastic hotel having had the holiday delayed two years due to covid but so worth the wait! What a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Staff friendly and helpful, especially around the beach, setting up umbrellas, providing towels and bringing drinks to sun beds when ordered. The hotel itself is immaculate and rooms cleaned every day. The breakfast had such an extensive selection and I particularly enjoyed all the fresh fruit prepared. We did order lunch by the beach one day and this was such good value - 6 euros for a burger and chips which was of good size.
The only complaint my husband had is that the hotel only sold beer in bottles and these were slightly enhanced price compared to other places near hotel, which I know you can expect to pay more in hotel for drinks.
Montenegro itself is absolutely stunning and to me is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. We took a boat trip for 25euros and was out for 9 hours with 4 stops which was amazing.
Thank you again all staff at Hotel Palma we had a fantastic holiday

The hotel is situated on the promenade with a shale beach, no sunbeds on the beach until the last day, which was annoying we stayed for 4 nights. The rooms are small but tastefully decorated with a small balcony. Staff on reception were very nice and helpful , and the lady on the bar was friendly, rest of staff are not. No smiles or greetings , no acknowledgement when entering or leaving the dining area, didnt even return a smile. The breakfast was poor, never any coffee cups , or spoons. Im all for a continental breakfasy but who eats carrots and brocoli. The bedsheets had holes in them , we had no toilet roll on 2 occasions, the shower tray over flowed as it was blocked, and the dressing table was cracked .
I wouldn't stay there again, but Tivat is a lovely place. and the hotel was near the airport and bus station to travel around

The hotel has a great location on the edge of the town. We arrived by hire car and got free parking at the hotel. The beach in front of the hotel is private and the sunbeds are free, of good quality and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was OK, no balcony or sea view but some did. The shower in the bathroom is very small, if you drop your soap it’s a struggle to pick it up! The Breakfast buffet had lots of choices including cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bread & pastries, cooked items and Brussels sprouts!
We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but chose to eat out, there a range of restaurants close, some cheap, some expensive. We took a boat trip and loved it, the scenery is stunning.

Well what can I say on the first day me and my daughter where accused of moving towels off sun beds in quite a nasty manner which obvs as Brits we had not done. The lady who accused us off this was Croatian and everyday would reserve a slabs with a rock and a piece of paper which I’m not sure is allowed. Nevermind all I can say after that is it went down hill food was awful and staff where very rude. I asked to speak to a manager hoping for an apology and am still waiting apparently he was in another hotel this was explained in check out. So if you have a problem don’t bother they actually didn’t care at all. The one Saving Grace was the lovely chamber maid who greeted us with a beautiful smile each day and was courteous and polite. On the bus home I heard the driver saying they don’t like the English and tbh maybe this was the reason. If you go Kotor is much more pleasant and people are way nicer.

When arrived was dropped off around a 3 mins walk to the hotel as no access by road only walking. Was early but was surprised that room was ready and allowed to check in nearly 2 hours early.
Room was small will a side sea view and a little balcony just big enough for 2 chairs.
A double bed but not much storage for 2 people for 10 nights. The shower was very small if you can get in it don't drop anything on the floor as not enough room to bend down to pick it up. Towels were thin and needed replacing.
We had booked half board. The evening meal was terrible cold and barely any choice. I thought it was the starter and a main meal would be ordered but no that was it. For €14 a night it's not worth it. We only ate there 2 nights out of the 10 we had paid for. The breakfast was ok but not alot of choice and the eggs looked like they had been sitting for a while.
Be careful as the prices of drinks here as very high my advice is drink elsewhere as cheaper. We paid €13.50 for a beer and a rose wine. Other places nearby this is between €4-6.
Montenegro is a beautiful place but I wouldn't return to Tivat or this hotel. I'd suggest Budva or Kotor.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to share yours expressions about your stay in our hotel. First of all we are glad that we was in situation to provide early check in to the room for free of charge, which is not usually possible because of previous reservation in house. It is clearly mentioned that the hotel has a limited number of parking spaces located near the main entrance around 500 m cca due to the approach that is right next to the sea on the promenade. Kindly we would like to emphasize that the showers in all standard double rooms has been renovated which means they are much nicer and more spacious in them. We are truly sorry to hear that you did not fully like the choice of dishes and we did not manage to please you in this respect. Kind regards, Hotel Palma team
