In town for a conference so options were limited. Not the newest Fairfield Inn but filled my needs. Price was competitive compared to surrounding properties. Check in went smooth, had a decent breakfast, comfortable bed and room was clean, fairly quiet building. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to a friend or co-worker.

I booked this hotel thinking it would be a solid choice for a one-night family stay because Fairfield Inns are usually decent. It was not a good experience. The hotel is pretty worn and the decor is outdated - and while I understand this may sound a little petty, it just made the hotel feel drab, dark and dingy. Also, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the pull out mattress was awful. My two small kids were sleeping on it and I felt bad for them because the mattress was just hard springs (we doubled up a blanket to soften it). There is absolutely no way anyone other than a small child with lots of extra padding could sleep on that - an adult would have been miserable and better off in the floor. And while this is very circumstantial, our room was over the pool and even though it was supposed to close at 10pm, there were people yelling and screaming in the pool until midnight and it was extremely loud - we actually thought it was in the hallway for awhile, before we made the connection that we were over the pool and that’s what we were hearing. So if you’re unfortunate and end up over the pool with loud, late pool guests, that’s not great either (and the hotel didn’t seem to enforce the hours). On a positive note, the staff was incredibly pleasant and friendly. But the quality of the hotel and beds were so poor that I would never stay here again.

This is the first time staying at this hotel. We normally stay at the Super 8, not anymore! This place is clean, quiet, beds are comfortable, good water pressure. And there IS an elevator! As a Marriott rewards member we received a bottle of water and a couple snacks upon check in. The breakfast was awesome: waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, bagels and cream cheese, juice, coffee, cheese omelets, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal etc. something for everyone. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will say the bathroom is small and the door just misses the toilet when you open it, not sure if they are all like that or not. We were in room 210 which is a king size bed. Overall will definitely stay again. I bought points thru the rewards program to add to current balance and was able to stay 2 nights for $150 plus points.

We decided to stay here to use points for a stay. We wanted the comfort of Marriott brand standards. This was not of Marriott hotels standards. We have Titanium Elite status and have stayed at several Marriotts and other similar hotels. This hotel is terribly uncomfortable. We did not request a Handicap equipped room, but got it. The bed was very hard, bouncy and moved with every motion. I will never stay at this location again. I cannot say with 100% certainty, but I suspect although this carries the name of Fairfield Inn (Marriott), it is not managed according to Marriott standards. AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT'S NOT COMFY.

We have normally stopped here on the first leg of a trip to Arizona. It is a clean, convenient, timely place to spend the night. Desk staff was friendly & helpful. Room was clean, as were linens and bed was comfortable, although, to tell the truth, furnishings are beginning to look a bit worn and outdated. Breakfast was standard hotel/motel fare and not bad, but breakfast staff was not really attentive enough in keeping coffee urn full and hot and other items properly supplied. Still, except for the coffee, not bad. We travel with a service dog and he was well and considerately treated. We would stay again.

We were here from August 27th to September 2. The room was neat and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The breakfast staff person was kind enough to let us in even though the time for closing had passed. The location is easy to get to and within walking distance of many eateries and shops.

So, this hotel is using the Marriott name but certainly does not have any standards of the Marriotts I usually stay in. First off…there is not enough parking for all of the rooms. So if you find a space in their lot…DON’T LEAVE! You may not get it back and then be told to go park across the road. Second… absolutely gross. Dirty hallways, dirty linens. A literal dried up snot ball on my comforter. Only 2 floors so it shouldn’t be that hard to get out a vacuum and run it over the hallways. The breakfast…. I don’t even know what that was. Awful, gross…words cannot describe. I went and bought a bag of mini donuts at the store. And lastly, very bad customer service. I had a room reserved for 2 nights, my other family members had a separate room for one night.all under my name. I literally explained all of this word by word to the front desk. I was not present when the second party showed up, as I was at an event. So they check in and our given a key to my room…the one I was already in. So they drag everything upstairs, including small kids, and walk into my room. Have to turn around, go back to the front desk where confusion ensues……just don’t stay here. It’s unpleasant at best.

My sister and I were just in town for a D.C.I. event in Muncie and chose to stay at the Fairfield Inn. Check-in and Check-out was easy. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. Staff were very courteous and friendly. Our room was clean. During our evening the hotel was quiet. Our breakfast was adequate. I am not a big fan of omelets. I would rather have scrambled eggs, but the hot items were hot, and the cold items were cold. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Muncie.

Let’s get this out of the way: this hotel is/looks dated and is an older-style Fairfield. But as the review title says, looks can be deceiving. It’s clean, the rooms are spacious (although the bathrooms are teeny tiny) and the staff is exceptional. We had a complicated-ish check-in with three separate rooms and payments, the gentleman at the front desk was familiar with our situation and rearranged our rooms so we were all next to each other. The location is by EVERYTHING on a busy boulevard so lots of dining and shopping options. Although in a high-traffic area, it’s not loud or disruptive at all. We slept great. Finally, they put out breakfast an hour early on a weekend because so many volleyball teams were staying (our reason for being there too) and needed to head out to a tournament before 7 am when breakfast would usually just be opening. Occasionally a hotel will put out some grab and go items early but not the full breakfast. They called in the staff person to start early, which is so appreciated and shows this particular hotel strives to surprise and delight its guests. The only reason not 5-stars is because it could use an update/refresh, but it’s still in very good condition.

-Room was spotless (I am a stickler for cleanliness) -Close to campus (attended a football game) -Friendly Staff -Loved the bite-sized candy Needs Improvement: -This was my first time staying as a Bonvoy Member, and no one acknowledged I was a member (working for a hotel chain in a past life, members appreciate being recognized for being a valued guest) -When I got to my room, I noticed two bottles of water on the desk. I went to take one, and noticed they were $6.00 each. As a member, I would have thought a smaller complementary water, would have been nice. -Bathroom was too small
