Great value. The large rooms are what first attracted us since we have 3teen/young adult kids who won't share a bed .We did not partake of the activities because we were in town to visit family. My kids have always enjoyed coming here. The cozy fireplace and sitting area are great too.

P5243LBpatriciac, Thank you for taking the time to type this review. We agree that our larger rooms work well for families and groups of friends. The larger groups often book the entire Buck Inn which is always a great time. I am sorry that you didn't have time to enjoy the activities but maybe that means you need to come...

Always an amazing experience and the staff rocks. I have take my nieces and nephew the last two years and they have a blast. They love the zip-lining and horse back riding. If you get a chance eat at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the cook was a really nice guy.

618mindyb, Thank you for recognizing the staff. There is no doubt we have a great crew running the ranch. If it was not for them, the place would not be as enjoyable. You should consider our lunch in 2017. We are revamping the menu and making some really tasty sandwiches. I hope we see you on trip number 4 to...

Paula and Derek were awesome. They made you feel like family as soon as you drove onto the property. We went 2 days before Thanksgiving and were the only guests there. However we were still provided with some of the best service I've ever had. I wish I could have spent the whole week here. My favorite was the horse...

Aprilc562, It was a pleasure to host you on the ranch. We are more than happy to host a single person or an entire family of multiple generations. A guest is a guest. The horseback riding is and always will be one of our draws to the ranch. The wranglers experience and personalities mixed with our wonderful herd of horses...

This is the second time we have stayed in the ranch house. It's nice and can accommodate 9 people comfortably. Nice wrap around deck and lots of things to do for fun. Close to downtown Nashville. We will be back.

Tra878tarahh, Thank you for returning this past trip. It is our repeat customer that helps keep the ranch going. It is our hope that the return customers see the improvements we make to the ranch. They see the money they spend at the ranch goes to making the ranch better for their return trip. I hope you will make a...

The teepees are fun, inexpensive and make for an interesting outing. However, as we did not see any mention of dogs not being allowed, and, in fact, there is a photo of a dog in front of the teepees on the site, we brought ours. This same dog (presumably) wondered up into our midst shortly after we got there. So...

Derek C, Owner at Rawhide Ranch, responded to this review

We have a zero-tolerance policy for guest dogs on the ranch. As I am sure you can understand, the liability of a non-ranch dog is too much for our operation. It is not just the chance of them biting another guest but of a dog spooking one of our horses and causing a rider to be gravely injured or chasing...

Had a good time trail riding and enjoyed zip lining! Would recommend to friends! The location was great, you felt like you were away from the hectic traffic but close enough you could enjoy a trip in town.

TammysN805KP, The ranch family greatly appreciates the time you took to write this review. The ranch is in a great location. We are far enough away from the main path to give the feeling of isolation yet still three miles from town. A short hop and skip to the main shops of town. We stayed in the Tipi village and very much enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back. Also did the night hop on the zip lines and took a horseback trail ride. Staff was very friendly, fun, and helpful!!

Derek C, Tipi Pole Dragger at Rawhide Ranch, responded to this review

254chastitys, I personally enjoy the tipis. There is something that can't be put into words about staying in a tipi with a nice little fire keeping the cold air outside. It is primitive camping at its finest. I also appreciate the comments about the staff. We do have a great crew running the ranch at this time. Sincerely, Derek W...

My wife and I stayed here at the Brouse House cabin for a weekend getaway. We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was great, breakfast was yummy, horse ride was so much fun! Ryan H, Thank you for the review of which you wrote one of the best quotes, "This place feels like home". We attempt to treat everyone like family and I believe that is why you felt this way. This was for my daughter's fall break. We couldn't go far so we decided to go Brown County for some horse back riding and zip lining. We had a great time. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We would love to go back with a group as it is a great place for that.

757rhondah, Thank you for taking the time to write the review and more importantly, thank you for taking the time to be with your daughter.
