This place is perfect! We had a room with the spa bath, so awesome! The breakfast is amazing! Ask about the cinnamon pineapple-definitely the favorite. Book here-you won't be sorry. Located directly in the middle of Nashville and Columbus, it is the perfect location, with so much to do in the area. It's also pet friendly, which makes the stay...

The rooms here are very nice. Had a nicer stay in March of 2016. This trip the kitchen was messy & the sink always had dirty dishes in it. In March food was cooked to order (meaning how do you like your eggs) this trip it seemed like a hotel breakfast bar. Scrambled eggs only and some pastries & biscuits...

I am so sorry to hear about your stay and the mess in the kitchen. I can assure you the kitchen is completely clean now, since my husband and I are now the new owners. I cook the breakfast every day and everything is homemade. My husband and I would love to meet you.

I took some time off of work and wanted to head south for a little getaway. I found this place and booked primarily because it was pet friendly - but what I found was so much more. The property itself is beautiful - a lovely pond and "zen meditation area" to sit and enjoy the wooded landscape. I was immediately...

What a beautiful place to get away from every day life! We enjoyed a very relaxing time and we were well taken care of! From the award winning breakfasts to the homemade cookies we were blessed and felt a warm welcome from the cold, cruel world. Thank you Freda for your generous hospitality and warm embrace. We will definitely be...

My wife and I are the new owners of the inn. We have changed the name to the Lil Black Bear Inn. Freda is still a part of the inn just in a different capacity, more like a consultant. We are still pet friendly. Breakfast is still made fresh daily, along with homemade cookies or banana bread. Thank you for...

We took one of our daughters and our dogs to Brown County for an overnight trip. Always Inn was one of a few places that allow pets that didn't require 2 nights' stay. It has a nice rustic look from the outside with several places to relax. The huge deck area could use some TLC, but has lots of room...

This B & B was wonderful, we found the place right away. I'd say the signage needs to be a little different, especially for when you are driving in the dark. Mary greeted us as we were coming out of our vehicle. Our room was fine, it was small but it served its purpose. The bathroom was a tad bit...

Technically, the room had a bed and we were given breakfast. We've stayed in a variety of B&Bs over the years and this was the worst. Quality of the room: like a motel room - seriously, like a roadside motel room. All the other B&B rooms we've stayed in have had character, quality and attention to detail. Not here. The...
