This is my first time to stay in B&B. I stay one night with my husband and we have dinner and breakfast in the house. The house owners are very nice and helpful. I have excellent experience to stay in this lovely house with beautiful environment. The house and rooms are clean and comfortable with many historic items, such as...

We stayed here for one night recently and enjoyed our time immensely. Our hosts were magnificent and even though we arrived late in the afternoon, Catherine still whipped up a delicious three-course meal for us. Lovely. The rooms were what you would expect of an 1850s farmhouse. Cosy and welcoming. A separate dinner room was also very nice, and breakfast...

We had a lovely night here recently. We had transport problems on our way ( SNOW ) and looked at one stage we would not make it. The owner said no worries ,no cost if you cant get here. We finally made it. Huge bedroom, with a separate bathroom down the hall. That's ok as they provide lovely bath robes....

Friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable of the local area and history and quite willing for a good chat if that is what you want. The...

Charm in the turn of the century homestead in the Upper Derwent Valley with idyllic surroundings. Spacious quaint bedroom, separate lounge/dining room with dinner served for a very reasonable price. Alistair and Catherine are informative, friendly hosts.

after hundreds of kilometers on the Australian tarmac, we were glad to discover this unique place close to Mt.Field NP and the famous Russel waterfalls. The B&B's owners were extremely welcoming, and prepared a tasty salmon steak for dinner, with candles alight and the chimney burning romantically. The royal queen room in lavender/lilac tone was a feast of good taste and very...

Fantastic hosts, felt very spoiled. Home built about 1853, lovely decor. My husband and I enjoyed a 3 course dinner for just $25 per head, country style soup; salmon and vegetables; apple strudel with cream and ice cream; delicious! Thank you Kathryn and Alistair.

On a 10 day trip in Tasmania, this was probably the best place we stayed. Very friendly owners, who pointed us in the right direction for dinner and an ATM. Comfortable bed, peaceful location (and one of the best night's sleep I've had in a while), excellent showers and a delicious/plentiful breakfast. Would recommend to anyone!

What a friendy place to stay! This is a very pleasant B/B with a difference. The hosts are very welcoming and there is full use of a spacious sitting room with panoramic views over open countryside and distant foothills. Evening meal was delicious and a first class breakfast was presented.
